Huge congratulations to Cooper & Leah for running such a great trial! It’s fantastic to see the young ones getting in and having a crack. Running trials isn’t as easy as it looks — especially while juggling full-time work — so hats off to both of you for all the effort you put in! 👏

Super happy with The Lee’s Stone🪨
His first improver and he handled it like the little star he is and placed 1st

The Lee’s Ice 🧊 was in the good books too coming home with a 1st in the open and Stone backed it up with a 2nd.

Another good boy was The Lee’s Mouse 🐭 who put on a stellar performance with his handler Nicky and took home a 2nd in the Maiden and 3rd in the Novice A big congratulations to Nicky!!!

And Fanette… we honestly couldn’t be prouder of you on getting your second Encourage win and now up in the Maiden!
Nothing has ever stopped your drive, determination or dedication. To come from the city in another country and turn yourself into a farmer and dog trainer, on top of the language barriers you’ve faced — is such an incredible accomplishment.

You take every bit of constructive criticism on board without ego or excuses. You never get upset when I tell you to self-reflect — you listen, put in 110%, follow things through to the letter, and come back even more determined every single time.

You’ve taken one of our “questionable” dogs 🤣 and turned her into a bloody handy little dog, which honestly is a miracle in itself! 🤣🤣
You’re doing a brilliant job with Zoom, and don’t you ever doubt that!! You’ve got the right mindset to be a dog trainer and have started right at the bottom and worked so hard to get to where you are!

We are so lucky to have found you, or that you found us 🤣 and you’ll forever be my French sister 💕

We’ve had some full on crazy weeks! 2 weeks ago we headed to Mt Sturgeon the most picturesque trial you could ask for! The team done well with

The Lee’s Ice and The Lee’s Rock heading into the finals on the highest scores and unfortunately both losing sheep for their final runs ending up 5th & 6th

We headed down to the Vic State Champs on Thursday, set for a big few days of trialling. Leaving at 5am, we made our way to Teesdale ready for what was meant to be a fantastic start…
But things took a scary turn when Hank had a seizure mid-run.
I’ve seen a lot in dogs over the years …but nothing like that. It absolutely sent me into shock. It was bloody horrible to watch. What felt like forever was only about a minute, and then just like that… he was back to normal.
A massive thank you to Lee and Tim for helping me through it, and to everyone who checked in on him.
Also incredibly grateful to the vets who gave advice on the day and pointed me in the right direction, and to LL Pets Health for your assessment and support.
What really surprised me was how many people have experienced the same thing. For some it was a one-off, for others it led to epilepsy. I truly hope no one else has to go through it, but knowing what to do can make a huge difference:
Stay calm
Make sure your dog is somewhere safe where they can’t hurt themselves
Reduce stimulation a dark room, or even a towel over their eyes if you’re outside
If you can, record it and time how long it lasts to help your vet
Hank was back to full awareness within a few minutes and has made a full recovery but I’ll definitely be keeping a very close eye on my boy ❤️

Day two was a lot more like what we came for 🙌
The Lee’s Stone just missed the Novice final by 1 point ….so close!
The Lee’s Zeus, Ice and Rock (Rock prequalified) made the Top 25 in the Open Championship.
Rock and Ice stepped it up again, both making the Top 10 and finishing 2nd and 3rd in the Championship!
Rock will now be representing at the 2027 Australian Championship 😁
Ice also placed 2nd in the Open, and Zeus came 3rd in Improver.
It was also awesome to see a few other Lee’s dogs out on course ….nothing better than seeing them doing what they’re bred for.
Huge congratulations to Dean and Hulk, and a big thank you to the committee, volunteers, and sponsors for putting on such a great event 👏
We wrapped it all up getting home at 1am… then straight back up for pony club with the kids 😅
We are absolutely knackered — but life’s for living! 😜

Well… today’s the day Sophie heads off to the UK 🇬🇧✈️
Mum said she needed a good dog for the sheep… so i wouldn’t be much of a daughter if I didn’t send her one of ours 😁
�Pretty sure that counts as Daughter of the Year!
Sophie was one of Dave’s young up and comers, so I reckon he’s in for Son-in-Law of the Year too ⭐️🐾

We will miss her heaps, but I already know Mum will spoil her rotten… she’ll be on the sofa within a week 🤣
Good luck Mum… you’ve officially getting a proper dog now 😉

What a week at the Australian Yard Dog Championships in Lucindale!
146 dogs in the Open, with 14 already pre-qualified for the Top 30… leaving just 16 spots to fight for. Safe to say it was a tough field.
The Lee’s Ice and The Lee’s Test both gave it a red hot crack and made their way into the Top 30. The Lee’s Rock was so unlucky, missing out by just 0.5 of a point.
Ice went on with it, winning the Open and then backing it up again to make the Top 10 in the Championship, finishing 7th overall.

In the Maiden, The Lee’s Floss (owned by Simon) worked hard against 144 dogs, made the finals and finished 6th — huge effort and big congrats to Simon.
The Lee’s Taffy (owned by Angie) topped it off by winning the Encourage! So awesome to see and so proud of you woman!!

We had the best week with such a great group of people!

Here’s a little snippet of the dogs we’ve sold over the past few months.

So much time, care and dedication goes into each of these dogs 🐶 from the early days right through their training. We get to know their personalities, their strengths and their little quirks, so watching them head off to homes that truly suit them means a lot to us.

Saying goodbye is always hard, but seeing them settle in and thrive makes all the hard work so worthwhile.
