We are David and Sarah Lee, a husband-and-wife team with years of experience working dogs on large-scale stations. We specialise in breeding and training working dogs and educating handlers to build strong, effective partnerships with their dogs. At The Lee’s Working Dogs, we offer:

Working Dog Sales: Providing quality working Kelpies and Border Collies with strong instincts and trainable tempera

ments. Training Programs: Customised training sessions addressing obedience, behavioural issues, and specialised tasks, using methods that respect the dog's natural instincts. Handler Education: Workshops and one-on-one sessions to enhance handler skills, focusing on effective communication and understanding canine behaviour. Whether you're a seasoned handler or new to working dogs, we tailor our services to meet your needs. Our goal is to ensure every dog and handler team can thrive together.

We will be heading across the paddock in the next few weeks to shoot at the Mallee Machinery Field Days Yard Dog Trial.

I am taking bookings for both photography and videography coverage, at this stage we will be there both days.

Come on Dave 💪🏻
Pretty wrapped with how the dogs and their handler are performing this weekend at the SA Utility Championships.
First debut for these dogs and he got 2 dogs out of 2 in the novice final.
The Lee’s choice came out with a 4th place and The Lee’s Percy unfortunately got a DQ coming out 6th in her first ever trial.

For the open he’s got 3 out of his 5 dogs in the top 10, The Lee’s Ace, Percy and Test!

I can’t tell you how painful it is to be at home and not watching him and the refresh button on the live sheets is getting worn out 🤣🤣🤣

What a weekend at the Casterton Kelpie Association hosting the Australian Kelpie Muster
Saturday was the Stockman’s Challenge, and our home-bred mare Catalicious and my boy The Lee’s Rock 🪨 put in a good performance, coming home as Overall Winners. 🏆 Thank you so much to Darren and Paul for judging!
Such a coincidence that one of the major sponsors this year was Enduro, and Rock features on the front of the enduro plus food bags💕! A huge thank you to Enduro for being such generous sponsors, and to elanco_australia for all the goodies and Tony Mewburn for the beautifully crafted dog collar.
Congratulations to all the competitors on the weekend it was great to watch everyone compete and support one another.

Sunday was auction day, and we were absolutely wrapped to see Elsie, Stick and Troy all head off together to the same fantastic home. Looks like someone is a fan of a Lee’s dog! 😜
A special thank you to Nicole Cleary and french_bogan for the fantastic photographs and for capturing so many great moments throughout the weekend.
