Maxine studied veterinary science at Sydney University. She qualified in 2003 and upped and moved all the way to Echuca for a job. She loved the town so much she thought she’d stay and 17years later she is so excited to have bought her own business in the town. Maxine has 2 children - Angus, 10 and Lucy, 7 a dog, Murphy and 2 cats, Wally and Charlie. They all live in Moama in a house of organised chaos and love it! Minnie - Resident Cat/Practice Manager

Minnie is our resident cat and the practice manager. She likes to think we are all her servants and slaves. She loves any attention she can get and LOVES food! Maxine inherited Minnie with the practice and she loves to stare at the birds outside and terrorise dogs. Don’t leave your lunch sitting around as Minnie fancies herself as chief food sampler and won’t say no to a sandwich, hot chip or a dimmy...

We had this gorgeous little visitor in for their vaccinations, and honestly… how could you not fall in love with that face?

🎓🐾 Puppy School Graduation Night! 🐾🎓

Last night we celebrated the graduation of another wonderful group of puppies from our 4-week Puppy School program here at Perricoota Vet Clinic!

Over the past few weeks, these clever pups (aged between 12–20weeks) have been learning all the important life skills with our vet and clinic owner, Maxine from socialising and basic tricks to toilet training and helping owners build confidence at home.
We are so proud of how far every puppy has come and loved watching their personalities grow each week! A big congratulations to all our graduates and their dedicated families.

A little bit of wild magic came through our doors this week 🦘

We’re currently caring for a tiny joey who arrived in need of some extra love and attention.

Under the gentle care of the team a PVC this little one is being kept warm, safe, and well-fed as it begins its journey back to strength.

It’s moments like these that remind us how special our work is helping not just our beloved pets, but also the incredible native wildlife we’re lucky to share our community with.

With the right care and a lot of heart, we’re hopeful this little joey will grow strong and one day hop back where it belongs.
