Let's talk about this photo. It's cute, except it's not. I see a dog who cannot get up without telling the child to get off. How do you think a dog is going to do that?

The 7 Golden Toddler Dog Rules:
#1: If a dog walks away from you, you DO NOT FOLLOW.
#2: Always leave room for the dog to walk away from you.
---that right there is 90+% of dog bites eliminated---
#3: We do not climb on the dog.
#4: We do not grab or pull on the dog.
#5: We do not hit or throw anything at the dog.
#6: We do not touch the dog's food.
#7: We do not go into the dog's kennel.

I promise these are not overly difficult concepts for littles, nor will they rob a kid of their bond with the family dog. It will deepen that bond, while keeping everyone safe.

This is the last photo taken of Hachikō, a Japanese Akita dog remembered for his unwavering loyalty to his owner.
Hachikō belonged to Professor Eizaburo Ueno who lived in Shibuya and taught at Tokyo Imperial University during the early 1920s.
Every day, Ueno would walk to Shibuya Station with Hachikō and take the train to work. Once he was done for the day, he would take the train back and return to the station at precisely 3 PM. Hachikō would always be there waiting patiently to accompany the professor home.
One day, Ueno suffered a stroke and never arrived at the station. Hachikō went to the station every day for 9 years until his death in 1935.

This is “Merlin”
Sadly he came back to me on the weekend ie is 7 years, he has come from an only one dog home, he is a good boy but is a full house dog.
Because he has always been an only dog, I think he would more suit being in a home with No more than one other dog. He is good with other dogs, he has a beautiful nature and just wants to be with you. He definitely isn’t coping at the moment with his transition, but it is only fresh, he sat and watched all day for his owners to come back, this makes me really sad.
Ideally, I would love him to go to someone who is retired or semi retired As he just wants to be loved. I will say he does like to sleep on the lounge. He comes with his own bed and some other things. If you think you would suit him, please give me a call on 0428949110.

"Thursday night,l was sitting in my garage smoking a cigarette. Horrible habit, I know. 4 young men rushed me, decided they wanted my car, beat me up, and wanted my
keys. I told them the keys were in the house. They decided to go in. What they weren't expecting were my 280lb Pit Bulls. They are sweethearts and the kindest dogs
you'll ever know, but protect their home and owner with finesse. My beautiful babies charged these a**holes and stood over me as I laid on the floor of my garage, forever
protecting me. They are rescues. Unwanted dogs. They saved my life. Please consider adopting a rescue.

One girl was supposed to go on Friday, but their car caught on fire on Thursday, so now she doesn’t have a home to go too,😞

The other girl was supposed to go to her new family on Saturday but they have now found out their Realestate won’t allow a dog, even though the said yes they had approval from their Real Estate 😣.

These girls don’t have any health issues.
