Nyngan Pony Club was proud to host the State Sporting and Camp Drafting over the weekend. The weekend was a great success with over 100 riders attending. Riders came from all across NSW and parts of QLD, with the furthest competitor travelling all the way from Emerald! We had 16 riders from Zone 4 competing, including 4 riders from Nyngan.
Congratulations to Ella Kilmartin who got Champion Rider in her age group and also to Isla Ross who came 5th in her age group. Congratulations also to Evelyn and Lila Greig who both came away with ribbons in many of the sporting events! Well done girls!
A big thank you to all who helped out, ensuring the weekend was a great success.!

Nyngan Pony Club are hosting State Sporting, Campdraft & Challenge Championships this weekend 12th & 13th April, where the top riders from across NSW & parts of Queensland will compete. There are over 100 riders in the 5 age groups competing, with Nyngan Pony Club represented by Lila & Evelyn Grieg, Ella Kilmartin & Isla Ross.
Saturday will be the Sporting events - Bending, Flag, Barrels, Bonfield Bounce, Diamond Flag, Figure of 8 & 3 Mug Race.
Sunday will be Campdraft competition and the Stockhorse Utility Challenge.

Come on down to the showground to support the local competitors and see some of the best young riders in action. Spectators Welcome. Free entry.
Canteen will run over the weekend with Bacon & Egg rolls (breakfast only) Steak & sausage sandwiches, pies, drinks, cakes etc

We will need cakes, slices etc for the canteen if anyone can help us out.

📣 Schedule Update – 2025 Sporting, Campdraft & Challenge Championships 🐎

Just a quick update – due to the number of entries, the Challenge event will now be held on Sunday, 13th April 2025. 🗓️

You are no longer required to compete on Monday the 14th, as the entire event and presentation will now conclude on Sunday. Sorry for any inconvience.

We had 8 riders travel to Dubbo on the weekend, for the zone 4 2025 Jamboree. Despite the heat, all riders rode their best and should be very proud of what they achieved! Congratulations to Ella Kilmartin who got Champion rider in the 11 and under 13 age group and also to Isla Ross for getting Reserve Champion in the 13 and under 15 age group. Great effort!
A big thanks to Dubbo Pony Club for hosting the Janboree and making the day run so smoothly. Well done to all involved!

With the lower than expected numbers for the Zone 4 Jamboree the committee have made the decision to run all events on Saturday with a reduced program.
Entries will be reopened until noon tomorrow (Friday) if you have missed putting yours in.

We had our first rally for the year today. Membership numbers are a bit lower this year but we had a good turn out for the rally, getting in some practice for the Zone 4 Jamboree next weekend.
Also a big shout out to those who were able to help out at the working bee last weekend, in preparation for the upcoming State Sporting Championships.
