Morning all.
Once again cracker night is upon us tomorrow night. One of the nights most pets dread.
If you have animals that are sensitive to fireworks try and put them inside some where. Probably not a tin shed though as tin can make the noise seem worse.
Bring them in if you can and maybe turn the tv up just a little more to help drown out the sound. If they want to hide then let them. Don’t chastise them for being scared but don’t coddle them either. Just carry on life as normal.
Keep an eye out for pets that may have escaped to get away from the noise. If you see any pets running post on social media the type of animal, description, where is was and time if sighting. Remember never to approach a scared animal as a scared animal is an unpredictable animal. If you call to them and they come to you then that’s great. Check collars for contact numbers.
Even if you can’t hear the fireworks it doesn’t mean your animals can’t.
If you are going to a fireworks display tomorrow night rug up, be safe and have fun.
