I thought it might be worth putting these photos up to demonstrate the benefit of prepping your soil at or before planting.

The half bed with sweet corn was initially planted 4-5 weeks previous to the other half. No preparation and just slapped into the soil we had at the time.

The 2nd half of the garden had a layer of mulch and manure added at the time of planting. The difference in health is obvious! It doesn't need as much TLC and won't be long till it looks like the last 2 photos...

New stock arrived this week. Along with more veggie, Herb and Flower seedlings. They look fantastic and with the weather like it is, it is time to get into the garden, over and over and over again!! 😁

G’day folks!
We’ll be open for a half day this Labour Day public holiday — because, as you know, there’s nothing quite like getting stuck into the garden on a day that celebrates your right to work!
So come on down, grab your veggies, fruit trees, or anything else that tickles your pinkies, and head home to enjoy some quality time in the garden 🙂
And of course - we are open tomorrow from 8am - 12pm
