WE ARE TEMPORARILY CLOSED AS OF THE 12TH OF JULY FOR 8 WEEKS.

We are expecting newborn puppies in two litters, Fortunately as an ethical breeder I am not willing to jeprodise my puppies health by inviting clients and clients dogs into my home during this time. This is due to Coccidia, Gardia, Hookworm and Parvo. Puppies have no immunity and die suddenly from things older dogs carry without it affecting them, older dogs do not show signs.

We have had deceased puppies previously due to Coccidia when we had the Jan Floods. This was devastating for me as these puppies were 7 weeks old.

Coccidia is in all soil, it thrives in wet humid environments and is water Bourne. It can live on surfaces of up to 12 months, without correct cleaning protocols. It can also remain dormant, it is on our shoes, clothes and can be on our skin

There won't be any exceptions for this situation all clients will be referred onto another groomer in the interim.

I’m going to express how most dog groomers feel when someone says we are too expensive.

We are expense? We do multiple things in the hours given to groom our clients dogs, we wash and dry, with OUR products, we use our own power and water (salon based). We cut nails and do the nasty stuff like a**l glands, I don’t see your hairdresser doing that for you…..

What about when our clients are late, not ten minutes, rude late, 1 hour 2 hour gone by after you have told them their dogs are ready, than we are used as a pet sitting service FOR FREE.

We might charge 95 for the hour and above but we do everything imaginable to earn that. The groomers lung we can get and get medical problems from dog hair.

What about when you dog decides to go potty straight after drop off (oh but they are house trained 🙄)

The no showers that can’t seem to remember literally anything.

So if you want to say we’re expensive or bag us out to a friend or family or hey if you are game to say it to another groomer, how about you put your hand in your pocket and go buy a $450 set of clippers and learn to do it. Fork out another 3000 minimum for a course in grooming to atleast have some idea plus the thousands it costs to go to seminars and learn more and more. Plus hope to god your dog doesn’t end up in a vet than they go what happened, oh the groomer… no you cut the dog because we’re too expensive.

Respect your groomer.

We had an absolute delightful time with Tropicbear Cavoodles & Theodores - Townsville at their special puppy party. I spoke about how important grooming is and the right ways to train your puppy before the big first day at the groomer 🥰

In these beautiful photos is my eldest son and our puppies in our Theodore program, follow my breeding page at Blossom Acres Theodore’s and Cavoodles.

These two pups will be paired together for our future F3 Theodore litters.

Due to clients constantly forgetting about their repeating appointments I will no longer be offering appointments on schedules. I have constantly been mucked around, 99.9% of the time the client has just forgotten believing that is a valid excuse to not pay for a deliberately missed appointment. I won’t tolerate it and won’t be affected by ignorance that than impacts my income and messes up my appointments.

Hello everyone!

I am very sorry to anyone who has messaged me and not gotten a response, I have had two litters born and they were on their last week before rehoming and had a unexpected passing and all puppies contracted coccidia from I’m assuming mummy dog, this has taken so much of my time as it’s totally treatable but had some heavy cleaning and treating to do!

On a side note, please be careful in the rain with your loved pets, coccidia is normally quite easy to deal with but fatal in puppies, we had one death and one puppy who couldn’t bounce back and unfortunately he was surrendered due to large vet bills to keep him alive.

But now we are healthy and happy and back to normal, so please bare with me to respond in time 🩷🐾

This beautiful girl will be for guardianship, I am looking for someone to take care of this beautiful girl in their home while she is on my breeding program. If you would like to apply please send me a message. There is criteria that applies to be eligible.
Meets and greets are a must, home inspection may be asked too.

Must be in Townsville
Must have permission from landlord if renting
Must be fully fenced yard
Must be financially prepared for a puppy
No entire male dogs AT ALL!
Must be open to indoors.
Must provide ID and proof of address.
