HAPPY RETIREMENT ROMEO 🤍🔥

RISING FIRE retires with a record of 45:4-10-6 and just shy of 💰$150,000 in prizemoney… not bad for a professional 58 rater 😎😂

No fewer than 7️⃣ trainers tried to get that elusive win with him, and we were lucky enough to get both his best and final victory on Darwin Cup Day 🏆 with our great mate Paul Shiers aboard 🤝 — fittingly, the same jockey who kicked off Romeo’s career in Darwin as a 3yo 🐎

A stable favourite from day one ❤️ Romeo has helped teach countless young riders, trackwork staff and strappers along the way 🙌

As always, our horses’ lives are just as important to us off the track as they are on it 🏡

Now Romeo heads off to Victoria ✈️ to tackle the equestrian world 🐴 no doubt still collecting his fair share of 2nd placings there too 🤭🥈

One final big day in the Red Centre before the long trip home, with 🖐️ runners flying the flag today 🏜️

🔥 RISING FIRE flashed home Saturday, only just missing 3rd. Shorter than his best today, but if anyone can make it happen, it’s the Hopper 😏

🌵 ARIZONA ACTIVIST makes his stable debut. A classy gelding linking up with the Hopper, the trip might be a touch sharp but there’ll be plenty of improvement to come

👑 HELL FIRE MISS takes on the girls with her favourite boy back aboard, chasing Queen of the Desert glory 💃

🚀 ROCK REVOLUTION comes off a last start win and steps up to the 2000m for the first time. Confidence is sky high now 📈

⚔️ VANGUARD LEGEND headlines the main event. The Vigar stays on top, second crack at the trip against the older horses and gets in beautifully at the weights 👌
