Anzac Day honors not only our fallen soldiers but also our fallen canine heroes who played crucial roles in supporting the armies during wars.

These loyal military working dogs carried messages, located injured soldiers, detected threats, guarded prisoners of war, protected basecamps, tracked enemy positions, and provided emotional comfort to the troops.

The relationship between soldiers and their dogs was strong, and the dogs were considered important members of their units.

Today, we commemorate their valuable service and admire the sacrifices they made to help those whom they served.
