🎓 Another class of puppy pre schoolers graduated last week with Miss Mop, Bindi, Zoe and Beth showing off their new tricks and enjoying some fun activities prepared by instructor Jody. Well done to our attendees, we hope the foundations have been set for some confident and happy doggos.

Our puppy classes will take a break during winter, stay tuned for our next round toward Spring 🌸

🍁We’ve been taking advantage of these stunning Autumn days, perfect for procedures like a gelding!
This beautiful young Clydesdale recovered so well from the surgery, his owner claiming he had no idea it even happened! This is kind of feedback we like to hear ❣️

A mixed veterinary practice means we are jacks of all trades (& masters of most 😜). Seeing a little chicken with a decent head wound required some delicate care from vet Karen. The laceration was flushed, closed with skin glue and little ‘Airhead’ was given antibiotics and pain relief. Hopefully this little clucker stays out of harms way in the future🐔

🚨This big cutie was busted with rat bait in his mouth, his fast acting owner brought him in for us to induce vomiting. A timely reminder going into the cooler weather, rats and mice are starting to come inside and sometimes without a second thought we are placing baits that can be accessed by our pets!

Please be mindful of bait placement and if possible, use alternatives, to protect not only our pets but also our native wildlife 🦉

Has little Fluffy given you a doggy smooch, only for you to get a strong whiff of rank dog breath? 😷

These images are from a 6 year old Maltese x poodle who started to stink out the room with bad breath. Once anesthetised, a full examination of the teeth was completed with several loose teeth coming out. A scale and polish to remove any remaining hardened plaque and tartar and this little man was ready to get up close and personal again 🌼

At home dental care is important, with special diets, chews, pastes and solutions - good dental hygiene for your pet is achievable!
