Catastrophe struck this morning when Pippa’s teddy mysteriously appeared on the floor with an open wound and its insides on the outside! 😱
Lucky for Pip, her dad is a skilled veterinarian and Teddy was able to be rushed in for emergency surgery.
As you can tell, Pippa is quite pleased to have her toy back and all stitched up 🧸🪡🏥

Jacqui couldn’t help but steal this little guy from his owner the minute he walked in the door. He got to meet everyone in the clinic and show off what a handsome, well behaved boy he is! 🤎

Handsome Douglas 💚🩵💛
This is Doug the Amazon Parrot. He’s quite the cool character. Doug has had a couple of trips to our clinic recently to treat a small mass on the bridge of his beak that was repeatedly collecting puss in the area and looking yucky!
Dr Alex and the team gave Doug a light sedation and were able to remove the mass and give him a fresh looking beak! After a course of antibiotics, Doug will be feeling good as new.
It’s always a pleasure caring for a quirky, well behaved boy like Douglas. How lucky our we! 🦜

Update - she has found her new home 🥰
We have one sweet kitten looking for her new home 🐈‍⬛🏡♥️
Her brother goes to his new family today so we would love to find her a family of her own to love as soon as possible.

Our kittens always come Vet checked, microchipped, parasite treated & vaccinated. Desexing once they’re old enough is also included in the adoption fee.

Lots of wonderful local horse events happening in the region lately 🐴🥕🏆
We are always thrilled to sponsor these community events that bring riders and their stead to town. A big shout out to Lachlan endurance club in Woodstock and Cowra Campdraft for having us as sponsors and well done to all the riders who competed ⭐️

Congratulations to our Junior Endurance Ambassador Chase Soper who attended Woodstock Endurance ride last weekend. Chase won 1st place in the Junior 120km and also received the Best Conditioned award. Keep kicking those goals.

Over 30kgs of cats for this gorgeous family of 4 Maincoons!
Beans, Olive, Truffles & Tato were crowd favourites when in the clinic last week for their annual vaccinations and health checks. They had us particularly amused opening sliding doors and showing themselves around the back half of the clinic.
We are all quite smitten with them! ♥️

We have been meeting so many new family members lately! It truly is one of the best part of our jobs seeing the joy that a new 4 legged friend can bring 💚
Our Puppy preschool class for May is filling up fast. If you are the owner of a pup ages 10 weeks-5 months, this is the perfect course for you!
First vaccinations are essential.
May dates are Monday May 4th - 25th. Call the clinic for more info or to secure you & your pooches spot 🐾🎓

Emma is spending her last day before maternity leave at our Canowindra clinic today.
We know a lot of our patients and clients will miss her as much as we all will!
