Bright Bessy Dog Training BBDT uses force free training and behaviour modification- showing your dog how to make good decisions I have developed that method. It is simple and logical.

I have seen the need for the development of an uncomplicated, no-frills method of dog training which clients can feel comfortable with and understand. It has no gimmicks and is highly effective. My method needs no equipment other than a flat collar and lead and does not involve the use of force or fear in any way, shape or form. Since the inception of Bright Bessy Dog Training, I have trained thou

sands of dogs, many of which had major behavioural problems, needed to develop some manners, had an owner that needed a helper or were young pups needing a great start in life. I don’t make unrealistic promises. I maintain a sense of humour and we am passionate about what I do.

A SKILL TO TRY

BONDING THROUGH RELAXATION
Objective :
To get your dog to relax while lying on its back on your legs.
It's front legs should bend and become floppy and back legs should fall to relax away from its body
Method:
Sit with legs out to the front,knees together.
Manouver dog so that it's head is resting on your waist with the remainder of its body lying on your legs.
Treat your dog and also stroke its belly slowly.
Don't force or hold the dog down
Purpose:.
*Nurtures bonding and trust between dog and owner
*Teaches dog to relax
*Positions dog so that body check,tick search,nail clipping and massage can take place

#1 People setting up scareing their dog on purpose with ofcourse someone recording the whole thing on their phone.
#2 People recording their dogs struggles with wearing shoes,some humans high heeled shoes.
#3 People pretending to be bushes and scareing dogs by lungeing at them.
Using the reactions and discomfort of dogs as a form of entertainment is to me not on ,and in my opinion - a form of depraved cruelty.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT DOGS

Some of us attended a function hosted by the Coffs Harbour Hospital for Volunteer Week.
I accepted the below on behalf of the 13 Community Support Dog teams.
I'm so very proud of each and every one in this group of amazing humans and their dogs.
Each dog has developed ' star' status with several 'fans' rejoicing when they arrive at their designated wards.
This is for you guys !!!

I must say a huge thankyou to Tim and also Jon and Tiffany for looking after us at the hospital .
