If you’ve been wondering, “Where’s Sophie been?!” 👀

Well… GUESS WHAT?! SHE’S BACK! 🎉💗

After some time away recovering from surgery, Sophie has officially returned to Rose Avenue Vets on light duties for now, but you’ll be seeing her around the clinic again! 🥰

She’s taking thing slowly easing back into clinic life one day at a time. 💪🏼✨

It’s so good to have her back with the team (and we’re sure she’s pretty happy to be back too! 😂).

Dental month already off to a great start and the beautiful Bruno was in today for our favourite type of glow up 🥰

Next up on our staff introductions, meet Dr Ben 👋

Dr Ben is a fantastic and experienced vet who returned to Rose Avenue last year. Many of our long-term clients will recognise his familiar face and he’s also welcomed plenty of new ones along the way.

Known for his calm, patient and thorough approach, Ben has a way of putting both pets and their people at ease while bringing light and laughter to our days. He’s a highly valued part of our team 🌿

Outside of work, Ben is an avid painter with a fine arts degree and his artworks are truly beautiful 🎨 He’s also our go-to for cocktail making at staff parties… just not our go-to when we need something from the top shelf 😉

Beautiful Luna came to see us recently with a very sore eye. Unfortunately the damage was severe and could not be repaired. 🥺

With no vision left and ongoing pain if left untreated, her owners made the incredibly brave decision to remove her eye, putting Lunas comfort first.

She was an absolute superstar through it all. Now she's back to living a happy, pain free life while we keep a close "eye" on her remaining eye. And honestly, we think she's even cuter than before. 🧡💚🐾🩺

A lot can change in a short time when you’re guided by the right vision 🌿

Since 2024, Rose Avenue Vet and Toormina Road Vet have grown into something we’re really proud of. Two fully equipped clinics, one consistent standard of care and a team that genuinely cares about what we do.

It hasn’t happened overnight. It’s been built step by step, case by case, with a lot of heart along the way.

Honest care, real connection and a commitment to always keep improving 🤍

About time we introduced the legends behind the scenes, starting with our beautiful Sophie 🤍

If you’ve been in, you’ve definitely met her. Front of house, on the phones and somehow doing a million things in the background to keep us all afloat.

We’ve had so many people asking where she is. Don’t worry, she’s still ours! Just off recovering from an injury and (very much) missed.

Safe to say the clinic isn’t quite the same without her 🥹

Eko came into our Rose Avenue clinic not quite herself and quite unwell. After some X-rays with Dr Michael, we found the cause… an intestinal obstruction 😣

She was quickly transferred over to our Toormina clinic as Dr Michael was needed in a different surgery. Dr Emma took her straight into surgery to remove a wooden cedar ball (yes… really 🙈).

We’re so happy to say Eko made a full recovery and is now back home where she belongs with her mum and dad 💕

Days like this remind us how lucky we are to have two clinics that work so closely together. What started as our “little” Toormina clinic has grown into a fully functioning hospital with the same level of care, equipment and team as Rose Avenue… and we couldn’t be prouder.

(And between us… there’s still more to come 🤫)
