“Hi Jen and team, thought I’d share this video of a ‘Paw Behaviour’ graduate Walter, now 3.5. He completed the 8 week baby puppy program starting at 9 weeks old. How’s this for a loose lead and connection with his walker? I just loved how he was watching her for cues and being so careful. Two adults watching very closely and took the lead for the majority of the walk, but this was super enjoyable for both Walter and his little charge who we were babysitting for the afternoon. This brought us joy, thought you might like it too! Love from one of the many well-behaved, well trained, adjusted graduates of your most excellent program. Sit, Sit, SIT! There definitely a place for teaching Sit to dogs, but could everyone lighten up & be more thoughtful about why you’re ordering your dog to sit for everything! 🤯

The other thing to consider is how realistic is your request & are you setting your dog up to repeatedly fail just so you can “correct it? That’s not fair or reasonable training & is very outdated. I see this all the time at the dog park - a high distraction environment which is not ideal for training.

Junior Puppies! ❤️ These amazing pups have joined us for six weeks of learning. Pups 4-6 months may have done a puppy school already or perhaps they been adopted recently. Maybe you didn’t realise training could start at 8 weeks?

Each of these families have different challenges, but the main priority is helping the pups feel safe & calm so they can learn & develop well through adolescence, when behaviour changes will occur.

Little Mochi was rescued from a puppy farm & has made huge progress in just one week, showing much more confidence this week. He has a great family who are supporting him beautifully. Martha started classes at 8 weeks so is building skills as she matures & Reggie is confident, loving life & keen to learn!

One of our favourite useful "tricks" is teaching our Super Pups to ring a bell. Dogs love to learn & I'm sure you'd love to have your pup let you know when they need to go outside by ringing a bell hung on your back door 😍
