This gorgeous 14 week old Golden Retriever puppy, Summer, came into the clinic this morning after a big night of vomiting and feeling very unwell.
After further investigation, we discovered that Summer had a blockage in her intestines and stomach that’s caused by a foreign object and she needed emergency surgery to remove it.
Summer was a real favourite with the whole team. Her sweet nature quickly won everyone over while she was with us, and we were all so happy to see her head home with her family after surgery.
We’re wishing this beautiful girl a smooth recovery and can’t wait to see her back at clinic for her check up.🩷🩷🩷🩷

🚨A good reminder that puppies will put almost anything in their mouths! If your puppy is vomiting repeatedly, seems painful, lethargic or stops eating, it’s important to have them checked by a vet.

🐾💙PET OF THE MONTH 🐾💙

Maverick a beautiful Ragdoll who is always such a pleasure to have at the clinic. He arrives on his leash, takes everything in his stride and is as calm and gentle as they come.
Recently, Maverick developed a rare type of ear infection in cats, which required an ear flush under a general anaesthetic to properly treat the infection and get him feeling comfortable again.
Maverick was such a good boy throughout his treatment and handled everything so well.
He’s now feeling much better and back to being his happy, affectionate self.

🩺🔬Tiny’s Visit! 🩺🔬

Tiny the Chihuahua stopped by to see Dr Steve for a check-up and vaccination today. 💙

We’re starting to think Tiny isn’t coming in for the vaccination… he’s just coming to visit Dr Steve! 🥹🐶 The tail wags and happy cuddles gave him away.

Tiny was an absolute superstar for his check-up, and we’re so happy to see him looking and feeling great.

Thanks for visiting us, Tiny! We can’t wait to see you again although we’re pretty sure you’ll be asking for Dr Steve! 😉🐾

🐾Meet Joey! 🐾
Don't let his size fool you Joey is just a big boy at heart! ❤️
This gorgeous Leonberger tipped the scales at an impressive 62.5 kg when he came in to see Dr Mary for a check up.
Despite his giant size, Joey is a gentle, lovable giant who won over everyone at the clinic with his sweet nature and big cuddles. We always love seeing him walk through our doors!

Meet the newest member of our team... Pat! 💙
Pat is our beautiful Siamese fighting fish ( Betta splendens) and has officially moved into the clinic. He's already making himself at home and adding a splash of colour to our reception area.
The next time you're visiting us, be sure to stop by and say hello to Pat. We think he's going to be a big hit with our clients both two legged and four legged! 🐾🐟💦

Today reminded us why we do what we do.

A beautiful mumma dog, Scarlett, arrived at our clinic after delivering 9 healthy puppies at home. Unfortunately, she still had puppies to deliver and required an emergency caesarean section.

Thanks to the quick actions and dedication of our incredible vets and nurses, four more healthy puppies were safely welcomed into the world, bringing the total to 13 beautiful puppies! ❤️

Every member of our team worked tirelessly to ensure the safety and wellbeing of Scarlett and her babies. Moments like these are challenging, emotional, and incredibly rewarding.

We’re so happy to report that Scarlett is doing well and is now busy caring for her very large, very adorable family. Congratulations to this amazing mumma and her 13 precious little miracles!
