📣 Your safety and the safety of your 🐶🐶 is our first priority, therefore, we will be closed tomorrow and Friday due to cyclone Alfred.

It is a challenging time for all of us including our furry friends. To help, we have listing some helpful tips below to keep our 🐶 friends safe and calm.

🐶 💨 Before the Cyclone
1 Create an Emergency Kit – Pack essentials like food, water, a leash, medications, and comfort items like their favorite toy or blanket.
2 Identify a Safe Space – Find a secure area inside your home where your dog can stay safely, away from windows and doors.
3 Microchip & ID Tags – Ensure your dog’s collar has updated identification tags and consider microchipping in case they get lost.
4 Stock Up on Supplies – Have at least a week’s worth of food and water for your dog in case of disruptions.
 
🐶💨 During the Cyclone
1 Keep Your Dog Indoors – Do not let your dog outside, even if they seem restless.
2 Stay Calm and Comforting – Your dog takes cues from you. Speak softly, offer treats, and create a soothing environment.
3 Use White Noise – Play calming music or turn on a fan to drown out the loud sounds of the storm.
4 Provide a Safe Shelter – A crate lined with blankets can feel like a cozy den, helping reduce anxiety.
