A Healthy Coat Starts with Regular Grooming. Your dog’s coat is more than just beautiful—it plays an important role in protecting their skin, regulating body temperature and providing an early indication of their overall health.

Regular professional grooming helps to:
✨ Remove loose hair, dirt and debris.
✨ Prevent painful knots and matting.
✨ Keep the skin clean, healthy and well-aerated.
✨ Identify lumps, irritation, parasites or skin changes early.
✨ Reduce shedding and maintain a soft, healthy coat.
✨ Keep nails, ears, paws and hygiene areas properly maintained.

The right grooming frequency depends on your dog’s breed, coat type, lifestyle and individual needs. For many long-haired, curly-coated and continuously growing coats—such as Poodles, Cavoodles, Groodles and similar breeds—pushing appointments out too far can quickly lead to severe matting. We recommend monthly appointments or no longer than 6 weeks between to stay on top of the dog's coat health.

Matting is not simply a cosmetic concern. Tight mats can pull constantly on the skin, trap moisture and bacteria, restrict airflow and hide hot spots, infections, parasites, wounds and other skin problems. Severe matting may also contribute to bruising, reduced circulation and considerable discomfort. In some cases, the safest and kindest option is to remove the coat completely rather than attempt painful de-matting.

Maintaining a regular grooming schedule makes each appointment more comfortable for your dog and helps us preserve the coat style and length you love. Between appointments, brushing and combing at home is also essential—but it must reach all the way through the coat to the skin.

🇯🇵 We also have some exciting news!
We are delighted to be teaming up with a company in Japan and are currently trialling a beautiful range of natural, Japanese-manufactured grooming products for salon use and representation.
We are looking closely at coat condition, skin health, shine, softness, fragrance, drying performance and suitability for different coat types—and we are already seeing some exciting results.

Stay tuned! We look forward to sharing more with you soon.
