Things happen for a reason, I learnt to slow down, not stress when my daily list didnât get done. A broken foot bone taught me to appreciate what I just took for-granted âWalkingâ 16 weeks in a moon boot, 8 weeks of non weight bearing, another 6 because I was too impatient to wait until it healed and caused the break to open up partially, At first I was depressed, then I decided I always complained I didnât have enough time, so I took this time to do things I loved. reading, drawing, listening to podcast, learning something new every day. The biggest learning curve was having to rely on others to help me do simple things. Thank you to great friends Jan, Lyn & and Craig a neighbour for walking the dog. My Craig for having to do all the things I couldnât. The sentence: could you do this for me! Iâm back learning to walk bit always now remembering. Donât TAKE THINGS FOR-GRANTED, MAKE THE MOST OF EVERY DAY.
