Dottie prefers the aerial approach — why keep four paws on the table when you can swing from the rafters? 🎪😂
Della, on the other hand, has discovered a far more energy-efficient technique…
Della chose pancake. 🥞
Same breed. Completely different strategies. Both absolute sweethearts. ❤️

Usually when Jasper & Pepper come to visit, Pepper is the one suffering from a severe case of FOMO and making absolutely everything about Pepper. 😂
Jasper? He’s normally the chilled one.
Apparently on Friday he decided he’d been overlooked for long enough. 😳🐾
The attitude. The side-eye. The PAWS.
My normally sweet, sensible Jasper woke up and chose violence. 😂
Meanwhile, look at that big happy innocent face at the end like he hadn’t just spent the entire groom throwing paws at me.

🎶 Hit Me With Your Best Shot could not have been more appropriate. 😂

Meet Miss Queenie… aka the velociraptor. 🦖😂
That is genuinely how her mum describes opening the front gate — “release the velociraptor!” — and after spending some time with her, I can confirm this is extremely accurate. 😂
She's only about 15 months old and is an absolute tornado of Bull Terrier chaos. I thought Simba trying to become a parrot was bad… Queenie apparently decided she wanted to become my scarf while I was just trying to get a nice selfie to send to my kids. 😂❤️
But this crazy little girl brought back some beautiful memories too. She reminds me SO much of Harley, the brindle and white Bull Terrier who was part of my family many years ago. Harley was only six months old when she came into my life, and she was another hose-chasing, larger-than-life little menace. ❤️
There was just something about Queenie's craziness today that took me straight back to Harley. 🥹
Safe to say Miss Queenie has well and truly won me over. ❤️🦖

🕵️‍♀️ THE CASE OF DAJA’S MYSTERY STINK 🐾

Apparently being a dog groomer isn’t enough… I’m now a private investigator too. 😂

Daja’s hooman has been telling me for months that this gorgeous little floof has a very distinctive mystery smell — and until today, I could never bloody smell it!

Today I FINALLY found it. 👃 A strange smell strongest around her neck, chest and shoulders… but underneath all that floof, her skin actually looks pretty damn good.
So Daja had the full treatment, including a 10-minute Malaseb marinade, a thorough rinse and dry, and then it was time for another sniff test. 🧐

Then we discovered SUSPECT #1 — THE HARNESS.
And holy hell, it STINKS. 😂
Case solved?

NOPE.

Plot twist: Daja barely wears the bloody thing. 👀 In fact, with her smell apparently transferring onto bedding, furniture, collars and everything else she lies on, there’s every chance Daja made the harness stink, not the other way around.

So we’re starting fresh. Clean Daja. Clean collar. Clean bedding. Clean harness.
Now her hooman has an important job: SNIFF THE DOG. 😂 Every couple of days we’ll be checking whether the mystery stink returns, when it returns and where it appears first.

No jumping to conclusions. No diagnoses. Just one groomer, one suspiciously innocent-looking floof and a mystery that WILL be investigated. 🕵️‍♀️😂

CASE NOT CLOSED.

Apparently the high-velocity dryer is the official starting bell for the Husky Rodeo Championships... 🤠🐺
Nadowi was giving it absolutely everything today. Rearing, bucking, chest bumps... she was determined to earn a perfect rodeo score! 😂
I've known this gorgeous goofball since the day she was rescued, so watching her turn into an absolute rodeo queen never gets old. ❤️
