Due to extreme weather conditions forecast, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel GLOW for the evening of Thursday 28 May to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests, staff, and animals. 🌧️

Here’s what you need to know:
🎟️ Tickets for the cancelled Thursday 28 May session are valid for any other GLOW night - simply bring along your existing ticket for entry.

Our first koala Joey of the season has had his first adventure out of mums pouch and into the world! 🐨 ❤️

Born back in late October 2025 at just the size of a jelly bean, the little Joey has been growing and developing inside of mum Opal’s pouch. Over the last few weeks our koala team have noticed little hand or face popping out to investigate the big wide world, whilst staying close to mum!

Mum Opal is very experienced, with this being her 4th Joey here at Sydney zoo. This Joey, a male, has been named “Jarrah”, after a type for eucalyptus tree 🌿 we are excited to watch him grow and develop! 📸 Zookeeper Shauna
