Got back from taking the program to Winnipeg, Canada and so lovely to be home and back at the block, returned home to see the horses finally putting on weight and condition and the weather cooler than when i left last week. 🥰🇨🇦Gubbibge is looking good and thanks for my horse and dog carers in my absence. Thankyou 🙌🏾

Bit of an update! Our beautiful horses are back at the new block, feeling the heat 🥵 but we have missed them just too much! Big shout out to all of our staff and amazing volunteers and supporters for getting the panels up and things ready. We appreciate you!!! Thankyou from all of us.

🐴 A re-elected Cook Labor Government will deliver $100,000 for new stables for Yawardani Jan-ga 🐴

Yawardani Jan-ga is an equine assisted learning program that uses the healing power of horses through innovative learning to help heal trauma, enhance social and emotional wellbeing, nurture leadership, and promote positive relationships for Aboriginal children and young people.

They do incredible work across the Kimberley region and the construction of new stables will keep their four-legged staff well looked after.

On behalf of all of us and our support systems….All I can say is Thankyou, our saddlery was just dropped at our old work site, from where it had been stolen around two months ago. Some missing items but all of the essential gear is back unharmed. So.. what this means to me and the program is hard to put into words, but all of you who support what we do Thankyou… those who assisted with amazing donations, Thankyou… we will utilise these funds for the outstanding missing items …….. and to the person who stole and then returned the gear, Thankyou for returning it, we cannot thank you enough ❤️. People are intrinsically good, the world is a harsh enough place as it is and whatever or whoever gave you this change of heart we show gratitude. Community is unity and we are all needed to make these things work.

All the horses headed down to Gingin last Saturday but Paris and Awesome kept shoving to Ascot Equine Vets for treatment on a large sarcoma and a squamous cell carcinoma. Many thanks to Mark Grantham for getting them all down safely and our Amazing friends and supporters at and Charlotte Roberts for all of your support and donation to allow this to happen. It will be the first time they have ever been able to run as a large herd and ALL escape the heat.
Just dropped in on Paris n Awesome with 🥕 🍏 and 🍐.
We are so grateful for your support 🥰🙌🏾⭐️❤️

On the 12th of August our team headed up the Peninsular to visit the remote school at One Arm Point Community (Ardyaloon) we had all ages participate either in grooming painting or having a mounted session. The older students were treated to a demo session and also given the chance at having a go at lunging and moving the horse (Nyarlu)

On the 13th of September 2024 were invited to be a part of the Day at St Mary's primary school 😊 the entire group of year six students got to groom and paint and hang out with Maisy and Nylaru. It was a fun day had by all. Thank you, St Mary's College Broome , for having us and your ongoing support. 🙌🙌🙌

On the 9th of August we welcomed the Marra Worra Worra Board members to visit Yawardani Jan-ga and take a closer look at how we have set up for the Broome community We are aiming to set up in Fitzroy Valley very soon and start in 2025. The Board took part in a meet and greet and demonstration session.🥰
