Big day… Great day! This morning we welcomed around 40 odd beautiful small humans from St Cecilia's Catholic Primary School. Year 5/6 camp Yawardani Jan-ga, credit to our amazing two and four legged team and the Parents/carers and staff for our most beautiful visitors today. Thankyou 🫶🏽

Got back from taking the program to Winnipeg, Canada and so lovely to be home and back at the block, returned home to see the horses finally putting on weight and condition and the weather cooler than when i left last week. 🥰🇨🇦Gubbibge is looking good and thanks for my horse and dog carers in my absence. Thankyou 🙌🏾

Bit of an update! Our beautiful horses are back at the new block, feeling the heat 🥵 but we have missed them just too much! Big shout out to all of our staff and amazing volunteers and supporters for getting the panels up and things ready. We appreciate you!!! Thankyou from all of us.

🐴 A re-elected Cook Labor Government will deliver $100,000 for new stables for Yawardani Jan-ga 🐴

Yawardani Jan-ga is an equine assisted learning program that uses the healing power of horses through innovative learning to help heal trauma, enhance social and emotional wellbeing, nurture leadership, and promote positive relationships for Aboriginal children and young people.

They do incredible work across the Kimberley region and the construction of new stables will keep their four-legged staff well looked after.

On behalf of all of us and our support systems….All I can say is Thankyou, our saddlery was just dropped at our old work site, from where it had been stolen around two months ago. Some missing items but all of the essential gear is back unharmed. So.. what this means to me and the program is hard to put into words, but all of you who support what we do Thankyou… those who assisted with amazing donations, Thankyou… we will utilise these funds for the outstanding missing items …….. and to the person who stole and then returned the gear, Thankyou for returning it, we cannot thank you enough ❤️. People are intrinsically good, the world is a harsh enough place as it is and whatever or whoever gave you this change of heart we show gratitude. Community is unity and we are all needed to make these things work.
