⚠️🐾 GOT A SPICY PUP? A CHAOTIC FLOOF? A “HE’S FRIENDLY AT HOME I SWEAR” KIND OF DOG? 🐾⚠️

Hi everyone! 💕
A few of you may already know my salon — ✂️🐶 Snips N’ Snuggles 💕

One thing I’m incredibly passionate about is working with nervous, fearful & aggressive dogs in the grooming environment.

Not every dog walks into a salon wagging their tail ready for a spa day… and that’s okay 👏
Some dogs have had bad experiences, some are terrified, some hate being handled, and some arrive fully prepared to fight for their lives over a nail trim 😭😂

That’s where I come in 🫶

At Snips N’ Snuggles, I run a special structured grooming program designed to help dogs slowly build confidence, trust & positive associations with grooming.

✨ This ONLY works when owners are just as committed as I am ✨

The goal isn’t to “force” dogs through grooming.
The goal is to change their entire perspective on it. 🐾💕
And honestly? Watching a dog go from terrified & reactive… to running into the salon excited for cuddles and snacks is one of the BEST feelings ever 🥹

🐶 HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS:
Most dogs start on a strict recurring schedule so grooming becomes ROUTINE instead of something scary that only happens every few months.
Example schedule:
🛁 3–4 Weeks → Bath & Tidy
✂️ 3–4 Weeks → Full Groom
🛁 3–4 Weeks → Bath & Tidy
✂️ 3–4 Weeks → Full Groom
(Repeat while confidence builds 💕)

Once your pup becomes more comfortable, we slowly begin extending appointments:
🛁 4–5 Weeks → Bath & Tidy
✂️ 4 Weeks → Full Groom

The more regularly they come, the more they learn:
✨ Grooming isn’t scary
✨ Handling is safe
✨ Brushes & combs aren’t evil 😂
✨ The salon can actually be FUN
This also massively helps with at-home grooming care too! Especially brushing, combing & general handling confidence 🐾

Some dogs may always need a little extra patience, and that’s okay. Progress is progress 💕

So if you’ve been turned away from salons…

Please know there ARE groomers who genuinely care 🫶

Your dog isn’t “bad.” Sometimes they just need someone willing to work WITH them instead of against them 💕

Because our books have become SO busy lately, our Thursday & Friday Golden Days are sadly no longer available 🥺💛

BUTTTT… that just means we’re making them EVEN MORE SPECIAL 🥰🐾

🌟 GOLDEN DAYS will now be hosted ONCE A MONTH on a SATURDAY! 🌟

To keep the day fun, relaxed and full of zoomies, cuddles and golden chaos, I’ll be accommodating up to ONLY 5 Goldens each month 🐶✨
