Quality control at Red Stitch isn’t always easy... 😂🐾

You spend weeks handcrafting beautiful leather collars...

Then take them to the beach for photos...

And suddenly every dog decides the same patch of sand is the most exciting place on Earth!

Perfect.

Because that’s exactly what these collars are made for.

Not display cabinets.

Not studio lights.

But zoomies.

Sandy paws.

Salt water.

Big adventures.

And dogs who remind us that life is meant to be enjoyed.

I’d say the quality testing was a complete success. 😄❤️

Sometimes breaking your own rules leads to something beautiful. 💙🐾

For as long as Red Stitch has existed, there’s been one signature detail.

The red stitching.

It’s part of who we are.

Then along came Porcha.

Her family had a vision.

Rich royal blue stitching.

At first, I wasn’t sure...

But craftsmanship is also about listening.

So we created a custom set just for her.

A handcrafted martingale collar, matching flat collar and lead, finished in a stunning royal blue.

The result?

Even I had to smile.

Every now and then, a special request reminds you that tradition and creativity can walk beautifully side by side.

Thank you, Porcha & Nikki for inspiring something a little different.

Some rules are worth keeping.

Others...

This custom-made puppy set in sage green leather was handcrafted for a young pup just starting life’s adventures.

A coordinated collar and lead, thoughtfully designed to fit a growing dog while reflecting the timeless craftsmanship that defines Red Stitch Dog Wear.

At this moment, it’s on the way 🏤

Soon it will be exploring parks, discovering new scents, collecting muddy paw prints and making memories with its family.

That’s one of my favourite parts of creating custom pieces.

Knowing that every collar and lead is waiting for a story to begin.

This custom 2.45m hands-free leash was created in sage green leather and handcrafted specifically for one dog and one owner.

There’s something special about custom work.

Knowing that every measurement, every detail, and every piece of hardware has been chosen with a particular team in mind.

A few days ago this leash was sitting on my workbench.

Now, it’s exactly where it belongs.

Out in the world, beginning its next chapter.
