started after trying to find decent dog treats on the market that didn't contain additives, preservatives and animal by products as the main ingredient not to mention treats that looked good and tasted good too. I’ve been a little quiet on here lately.
March felt… heavy. One of those months where I needed to step back, slow down, and just take care of what mattered most. So I did.
But there’s something about a new month that feels like a gentle reset. A chance to breathe a little deeper, refocus, and step forward with a clearer mind and a fuller heart.

This month we start back at market life, and we are excited!

Today is my last zoo trip for these holidays 🙌 whilst I love supporting Sam and his zoo life driving the M1 is not my favourite thing to do.

This also means that we return to markets and baking and social media and all the things that Happy Hound requires my attention for- its been a very slow start to 2026 in terms of baking and markets for Happy Hound and to be honest its been quite nice.... I am however missing it! ♥️♥️

Market life starts again in February- dates to be posted later today.... or tomorrow depending on this afternoons traffic getting home 🙃 until then I shall enjoy this view as I read my book 📖. Feel free to post some book recommendations in the comments ✨️

That's all folks! 🤸‍♀️

Our 2025 market journey has come to an end! What a wild ride this year has been! Juggling a semi full time job on top of baking, kids, weather, market slumps, market highs, sleepless nights, its all been worth it. We are beyond thankful for the continued support, Happy Hound Treat Co simply wouldn't exist without you guys ❤️

Our market buddies we show up in wind, rain and extreme heat all with a smile on our faces, and if we don't have one we are sure to get one just from the words of encouragement.

We are taking a short break from markets. We will be back February 2026. We are also taking a short break from baking. Baking will resume on January 5th 2026. All orders between now and then will be processed and delivered after this date.
