I am so glad I know my dog so very well.🥰 As i heard a grating/chewing sound whilst Drift was on his "place", in another room away from me,I went to investigate. 🤔

Finding Drift happily trying to make this golf ball (in my mind squeak) he was trying to destroy it with his teeth.
thank goodness he does relinquish items very well. I was able to then give him a better option and he didn't care about said golf ball.

Had i not been so aware of how he is with things, this could have turned out a lot worse, he could have swallowed it, it could have got stuck in his throat and choke him, or he could have destroyed it and eaten tiny pieces of it. Which could also have meant a Vet trip.

It has come from over the back fence from my neighbour, whether they hit it over or a crow picked it up and dropped it over I don't know.

Just always make sure I check my yard for non-dog items. 😛

Huge positive breakthrough with this little guy today.

I have been working with him & his dedicated owners for over a year or so now. To be able to build up his trust totally with me.

Success today was he was wanting to go outside with me, eat food and start to see what cavalletti poles are about.

This was all done today with just him and me present.

That is a massive achievement on his part. For so many reasons and his owners are going to be so thrilled with this feedback.

No barking, no growling, no muzzle required and HAPPINESS in him. 🐾🐾🥰
Patience, perseverance, understanding, dedication, training and TRUST has taken time to build and today it paid off!!
