With the change in season…seems we skip spring and hit summer! All the dogs are slower today.

New Girl Genteal Ginny had her first day at DogSchool today.

Krazy Kairos came for a visit as his mumsy had a very important date today!

Waccys Baccus finally landed on all fours!

The Alfnado and Silly Goose are a bit under the weather with eye and ear issues. So we’re keeping it chill for them.

Glory Rory has something going on, shes very much enjoying isolation today.

Flynn Ryder is becoming much braver and is able to drink water with other dogs close by.

Hanky Tanky is up to his usual stud muffinness.

Sonny Fizzgig started slow…but he’s building a heap of steam as the day goes on.

Genius Ginnie has shifted gears to accommodate for the weather.

Koda…she melted at 9am!

The full moon makes the crazies crazierst!

I’m expecting Nahni Banani to get vocal today. Shes been telling me how to run the day-day the last couple of weeks…very opinionated now 🤷

Milo isnt getting the same lurve from Nahni so he gives me extra touch time 🤷

Mia ditched me for Lahni…who’s on a sick day. Poor chicken has the coughs. Many licks have been given 👅

Zion equally has betrayed my love and is cheating on me with Lahni.

Nash is a boomerang 🪃 bouncing between us not knowing where to land.

Sonny is so happy he’s helping clean the yard 🤮 P**p patrol is my job buddy!

Sailor…what is there to say…oh…she loves Milo it seems.

Bonnie is a little tired 🥱 so shes ALSO cheating on me and going to Lahni.

Millie…if she’s bouncing off of Bonnie…chasing around Zion…then sulking…then happy. Shes hard to keep up with 😝

Wilson is impatiently waiting for the balls to come out…then shrugs his shoulders and watches me throw…but won’t get them today.

Dog Trainer Lingo: Negative Reinforcement

Negative:

What it ain’t: Something your dog dislikes

What it is: the removal of something

Reinforcement:

What it ain’t: a stinking stale cookie

What it is: a powerful key to imbue a performance or lifestyle with enthusiasm.

Out then together in a human context Stu, I don’t get it.

Ok let’s do that:

A parent realizes their child isn’t able to pay attention. The goal is to have the child’s attention. They mute the TV. They have the child’s attention.

The sound was removed, that’s the negative.

We’ll start this video with a dog example. I need Cole to walk into the yard, he thinks it’s home time.

He’s confused.

I put the lead on, which removes other conflicting choices, that’s the negative.

The result: he walks himself into the yard.

Now he can have fun with his classmates.

An invitation for all GRADUATES and STUDENTS🎓

The Social Responsibility routine is a fantastic way to step into an immersive, educational, pro-active and fun way to deepen you connection with your dog as well as continually improve AND prove your abilities on a standardised playing field.

The beauty is…my programs are all inspired by this routine. WHICH MEANS YOUR FOOLIGANS ARE PREPPED!!

This will be held on Thursday nights from 7pm on Campus.

Guess who else has hit the Silly Twos?!

Two birthdays in one week? These Foolies are going home totally stuffed this week 🤪🤩😍

Another upside: Gorgeous Khan the Boerboel jumbo is smashing goals!

We can now put skills on command for him.

In today’s session he coped with trucks cars and people really well…but it was the dogs that set him apart from his peers.

A couple of curious Schnauzers walked past us today without a hitch…the 2 Dashys at SuperSupps however, they Dashied it up and Khan totally took it in his stride!

It’s not just the dogs that are nuts! The birds are too!!!

Our nesting Swallows have started to land in the yard with the Fooligans. Presumably grabbing some Koda and Kairos fur for the nest.

Gives me a chance to trial Ginnies recall. Success! Obviously 😂😂😂

Kairos and Opie are up to their usual boy antics! Looks savage, totally sweet 😍

Nellie and Alfie are getting in the Spring mood…teachers gotta be cool 😎

Bonnie and Freya are girling it up today. Patrolling the class making sure everyone knows the goss.
