Sonny Fizzgig: Your the star student of today!

Sonny is an impulsive, compulsive, hyper energetic ball cute madness.

We have been working super hard at taking his enthusiasm for life and channeling it into practical skills.

You’ll maybe noticed that on the inside he’s freaking out about the SuperSupps flag…but he’s doing a great job and staying in his Sit.

This is the point of safe social skills! Not to wait for a bowl of crappy kibble, but to endure what life throws at us.

Little oodelicious Ziggy Stardust has turned the corner!
Transforming from a scared undersocialised young lad to a much more confident chappy!

He can recall through his classmates (that took some doing) and is now foraging for the first time!!!!

Did you know: Today is cuddle day! Even Sonny Fizzgig is getting in on the action!!!

This morning I was asked about how intense dog okay is allowed to get.

This is pretty nuanced, but the most fundamental rule is: When your mum/dad voice tells you you’re uncomfortable…interrupt the play.

Avoid punishing the play. You haven’t figured it out yet. Simply give them a reset.

Some dogs get very loud, some let out a sharp bark, some get cranky, some get nervous. As you watch an interrupt more, you’ll learn the different speed limits your dog lives at.

Wait till you see Sonny smash his WALKING and Goose smash her recall!! They rocked it!

Baccus and Kara are having difficulty adjusting to the extended range of the 5m lead. Getting them happy to explore will go a long way to making them more confident and calmer.

Mr Pickels is back! Mad Mr Wilson is learning to play! Sailor Swift is cruising?! Sonny Boy had a nap! Milo loves his tug! Nahni is mighty jealous when it’s not her turn to train! Bonnie is happily stoked with 2 days in a row! Zion had been on cloud 9 all day! Nash has been loving all the toys!!!

Man!!! Tank is bloody hard to move! My fingers are broken and my forearms are tore up!!!

On a brighter note…his recall is fabulous.

Glory Rory has got a spring in her step now. Those perky ears!!!

The Alfnado is a twirling mess, but we love him! Note that he thought a piece of toy was good enough to not recall?! Alfie, Alfie tsk tsk tsk

Sonny Fizzgig is equally distracted on his recall. But we got there…who knows how dizzy he was by the time he got back to me haha

Silly Goose…aced it…obviously!

On an even brighter note: Fizzgig wrecked a couple of toys. He laid down and chewed his way through his excitement on chew toys!!! Amaaaazing!
