You’ve all done an amazing job setting strong foundations for your pups, such a pleasure to see their progress and confidence grow each week.

A Belgian Malinois from Echuca came to work on unwanted behaviours like chasing bikes and runners.
As a breed with a naturally high Prey Drive, this behaviour is quite common. It’s important to provide clear structure and training to help the dog learn self-control and enjoy what it really likes in a safe and controlled manner.

𝗖𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘄, 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗼𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿!

That excited puppy jump might make you smile today… but it can become a real problem as they grow.

Jumping is just enthusiasm without direction. But the good news is, it can be shaped in the early stages of their lives, before it becomes an issue!

Methods you choose to work on this item will require consistency from all the pack members and your leadership when guests/strangers come in contact with your pup.

Good manners don’t just happen, they’re taught with patience, timing and consistency.

Obi has achieved a very honourable title of
🏅🏅 𝗢𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻. 🏅🏅

A big, big congratulations to Steve and a massive well done to Obi!

It wasn’t an easy road to get there, with plenty of ups and downs, but Steve always had a smile on his face (at least whenever I had the pleasure of watching the team in action 😉), enjoying the company of his mate and the dog training community.

This title requires perfect ex*****on of all exercises to gain five passes with scores over 185 points — and the team achieved:

🔷 185/200 (Second in Trial)
🔷 191/200 (Second in Trial)
🔷 196/200 (Highest in Ring)
🔷 195/200 (Highest in Ring)

Obi is now a Dual Champion, holding both Rally Champion and Obedience Champion titles under his belt. 🫡

My name is Sahil Verma and I am an experienced professional dog trainer in Bendigo. I offer obedience training and behavioural training for puppies, junior and adult dogs. I use balanced techniques to build a trusting relationship with your dog that will last a lifetime. My training methods will build a desire in your dog to work with you.

I use a variety of training methods to keep the dog engaged and interested, which helps build stronger trust in the handler. When I start working with a dog, the breed, temperament and history of the dog is considered, to help you become a pack leader.

All my classes are designed to provide participants with appropriate training and handling advice relevant to their dog's temperament. I address any behaviour problems the dog may be displaying as well as any handling/ownership issues the handler may be experiencing.

There are no shortcuts to become the pack leader your dog can rely on.
