A local double at Juandah.

Andrew Turvey and Cameron Webster share the Highest Local Aggregate in the Power Contracting & Farming + Power Energy Open, with the award including an embroidered rug donated by Manebid.

Both put together a big week across the three rounds, with Andrew bringing ANCHORMAN and BAD IN BLACK back for the Final, while Cameron had BOB, LILAC and OLIVIA among the 37 combinations that returned.

Five Open finalists between them capped off a strong week for both riders.

A pretty special one for Mark Buttsworth and BRANCHVALE METAL ALLOY.

They take out the RPL & Smithfield Cattle Co Tom Strachan Memorial Aggregate, rewarding the highest cutout aggregate across the three rounds of the Open.

Along with the title comes $5,000 and the Tom Strachan Memorial bronze, presented by Ned Strachan.

Mark’s words after the presentation probably said it best. Tom was a special mate, and this one meant plenty.

TWO OPENS. ONE $46,200 TRAILER.

The Longyard Hotel Aggregate Trophy has been decided, and it belongs to Pete Comiskey and SODA BLUE EXOTIC.

This one started back at the 2026 Gold Buckle at Willinga Park, with four rounds counting towards the Aggregate before another three rounds at Willinga at Juandah Plains. Same horse and rider, every score carrying through all seven rounds.

Pete and SODA BLUE EXOTIC arrived at Juandah with a serious head start. They had already won the 2026 Gold Buckle and recorded the highest aggregate across its four rounds.

Then they kept adding to it. A 90 in Round One and 89½ in Round Two had them leading the Longyard Hotel Aggregate on 534½ with one round left to run.

Their 81½ in the Final closed out the Juandah Plains Open on 261 and took their final Longyard Hotel Aggregate to 616.

And with that, Pete Comiskey and SODA BLUE EXOTIC are the 2026 Longyard Hotel Aggregate Trophy winners, taking home the custom Chucka Cow Trailer valued at $46,200.

PETER O’NEILL AND FLUTTER TAKE THE BIG ONE.

The Power Energy and Power Contracting + Farming Open began with 494 runs in Round One. From there, 231 combinations returned for Round Two before the field was cut to just 37 for the Final, setting up the last round of a three-round Open carrying $220,000 in prizemoney.

Peter O’Neill and FLUTTER had built their campaign on consistency, scoring 89 in Round One and 90 in Round Two to head into the Final on 179. They backed it up with another 90 in the Final, finishing on a combined total of 269 to take the win.

It was an incredibly tight finish. Ben Hall and TARMAROO JACKSON finished just half a point behind on 268.5, with Mat Holz and PINK AND YELLOW another half point back on 268. The leaderboard remained close beyond the top three as well, with only four points separating Peter’s winning total from the three combinations tied for eighth on 265.

The win earns Peter $50,000, along with a Ridetuff buckle and a handcrafted saddle pad donated by Made by Harls.

ZEB PEARCE CLAIMS THE ADG CONTRACTING MAIDEN AFTER A TWO WAY RUNOFF.

With $75,000 in total prizemoney across the ADG Contracting Maiden, Australia’s biggest Maiden purse, 260 horse and rider combinations lined up in Round One at Willinga at Juandah Plains. By Saturday, scores of 88 and above had narrowed the field to 40 finalists, with $20,000 waiting for the eventual winner.

Zeb Pearce and SUPER TUFF KITTY came back right on the cut with an 88, but their Final was a different story. Zeb and the Emerald Park Performance Horses mare put together a 92, taking their combined total to 180 and putting themselves right in the hunt.

Daniel Lithgow and ONE TIME DESIGN had carried a 90 through from Round One and matched it with another 90 in the Final, also landing on 180. Cameron Webster and TITAN finished just half a point behind on 179.5, leaving Zeb and Daniel to settle the Maiden in a two way runoff.

Zeb and SUPER TUFF KITTY went first and posted an 86. Daniel and ONE TIME DESIGN followed with an 82.5, giving Zeb the ADG Contracting Maiden win.

It was a big result for a mare still relatively new to the campdraft arena. Zeb said they only started drafting SUPER TUFF KITTY this year and she has been to around 10 or 12 drafts, but continues to get better every time she steps out.

Zeb takes home $20,000, a Ridetuff buckle, a handcrafted trophy saddle from TJ Saddles, supported by Dave Smith of Salt Bush Saddles, and a saddle pad courtesy of Made by Harls.
