Still looking for a home 🤍

Noddy boy is still waiting, our sweet playful man is desperate for a home. He would love a pat and a meet and greet if you are thinking about taking him - feel free to come and say hello at the clinic!

Meet Noddy

Do you like a rough and tumble no-good-nick from the wrong side of the tracks? A bad boy on the wrong side of the law but with a heart of gold? A guy with all the love and energy but no self control?

We’ve got the man for you.

This guy is very sweet but very energetic. He loves a zoomies, and needs an outlet for his energy or he tends to get a bit rough in his play. He would be best suited to a home able to handle his play, and without very young children.

He is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and flea’d. Please contact the clinic if you feel you could be the right home for Noddy.

ADOPTED ❤️

Meet Micah 🐾

You may have noticed that our striking girl has heterochromia (two different coloured eyes). Some say the sign of a perfect adoptee 👀

Our sweet girl is about 7 months of age, and looking for a second chance at her forever home. She loves to snack, snooze and play, but plays a little rough with other cats - so would be best suited to a single pet home.

She is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea’d and ready to go! If you have the perfect home for Micah or would like to meet her, please submit an application form (found on our website under adoption kittens) to [email protected]

If you are interested in adoption please submit an application form to [email protected] or at reception. Forms can be found on our website under adoption kittens. Adoption fee $120.

A reminder about Easter treats and our pets! ⚠️

🍫 From chocolate eggs to hot cross buns, Easter is a time of sweet treats for many. However, every Easter holiday period the Animal Poisons Helpline receives a significant increase in calls regarding pets eating chocolate and sultanas.

Chocolate contains methylxanthines which are dangerous to pets. Theobromine, the primary methylxanthine in chocolate, is toxic to companion animals. Following chocolate ingestion, signs of poisoning may include vomiting, diarrhoea, increased thirst, increased urination, hyperactivity, tremor, increased heart rate, changes to the heart rhythm and possibly seizures. The risk of poisoning is dependent on a number of factors including the type of chocolate ingested (dark chocolate and baking chocolate contain a much greater quantity of methylxanthines than milk chocolate), the amount ingested and the size of the animal.

Dogs are also known to be uniquely sensitive to grapes, raisins and sultanas. Dogs that ingest these fruits can potentially develop kidney injury, which can be life-threatening or result in lifelong kidney disease. Recent research suggests that an organic acid called tartaric acid (which is found in high concentrations in grapes) is likely responsible. Hot cross buns containing sultanas are a common Easter holiday hazard for dogs. Early signs of poisoning may include vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhoea, and lethargy. As the illness progresses, increased thirst and urination can occur which can be indicative of kidney injury.

To prevent accidental pet poisoning during the festive season, pet owners should be mindful to:

✅ Store chocolate and hot cross buns in areas that cannot be reached by pets.

✅ Keep dangerous flowers and plants away from pets (such as the Easter Lily, which is highly toxic to cats).

✅ Ensuring Easter decorations and small toys are safely secured.

✅ Provide your pets with safe, alternative treats or toys to join in on the fun.

The Animal Poisons Helpline provides free advice to pet owners in Australia and can be reached on ☎️1300 869 738 (AU), 0800 869 738 (NZ), 3106 4216 (SG), (917) 722-5958 (US) or +1917-722-5958 (CAN). SPECIAL ADOPTION 🐾
ADOPTED 🥰

Meet Millie, a 7 year old female desexed DSH. This beautiful girl unfortunately is looking for a new home as her owner is going into assisted care. She is a very sweet cat, and has spent most of her life sitting comfortably on a lap, listening to audiobooks and watching the news. She would not be suited to a noisy household or a household with dogs. This sweet little lady needs a patient and loving home, where she has time to develop her confidence before she is no doubt running the show.

Please contact the clinic via email ([email protected]) if you are interested in adoption or may know someone who is a good fit for Miss Millie.

ADOPTED 🥰

Clover & T***s 🐾

Turns out Clover sent her brother on his way with another kitten (don’t get us started, siblings right?!) - but she is an incredibly bold lass, and is quite happy with the situation. She’s picked a new friend - meet T***s!

T***s our little black and white gal, had a bit of a rough trot. She’s lost 2 toes due to previous injury but is recovering well, and quite frankly is rocking it🤘🏻 she is a little shy, but will happily box her friend sideways during playtime. These two would love a home together however would do okay separately. T***s if running solo would benefit from a quiet home with lots of patience and cuddles.

They are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed & flea’d. Adoption applications can be emailed or handed in to reception.
