🐾 Knowledge saves lives! ❤️🐶

Yesterday, we completed our A Dogs Life Pet First Aid & Pet Emergency Training Australia Pet First Aid & Emergency Training, and what an amazing course it was! 🙌

Leanne has put together such a fantastic course, covering so many essential topics, including poisons, choking, bandaging and muzzle wrapping, tourniquets, snake bites, CPR, rescue breathing for dogs of all sizes, and so much more.

It’s so important for us to refresh our skills every two years to ensure we’re up to date with the latest techniques and knowledge. We especially loved having Leanne come to our home salon, allowing us to practise these skills in our own environment. 🐕🩺

We highly recommend this course to **every pet parent and, especially, every grooming salon.** ❤️ Emergencies can happen at any time, and knowing how to respond could make all the difference — not only for your own pets but also for someone else’s pet when they need help most.

Research and recommendations are continually evolving, so staying informed and prepared is one of the best things we can do for the animals in our care.

A huge thank you to Leanne for coming out to us yesterday and sharing your knowledge, personal tips, tricks and experiences. We learned so much and are grateful for the opportunity to keep building our skills! 🐾💕

We’ll see you at the next course! 🐶❤️

She also got to give her mum her paw print and some of her puppy fur so that it can be kept forever 🥰

Hi everyone,
Our little Merlin has just undergone a (TPLO) knee surgery with an expected recovery of 8 weeks. For the first 2 weeks he is going to need my intensive care as this is expected to be quite painful for him especially in the first week or so.

I will be taking just over a week off to tend to Merlin to ensure his recovery goes as smoothly and comfortably as possible.
Please keep this in mind when wanting to book appointments for the next few weeks as I will be doing less dogs per day for the time being.

Still feel free to text or call me to enquire about appointments, however please be patient with me if I don’t get back to you right away.

I really appreciate all your understanding and support, thanks everyone.
