What a fantastic day yesterday at our July trial! There was lots of fun had, lots of qualis earned and I think I heard the word title thrown around a few times too 🥰

Massive thank you to everyone who stepped in and helped, we are a small club and can’t run these trials without help so we are very grateful.

Congratulations to everyone who did well in both rings, particularly to some of our newer members who did really well!

Now it’s time to recover, and prepare for our August trial 🐶

I meant to take more photos yesterday, but I’m just now realising that I didn’t take very many photos so here’s a few happy snaps.

It’s trial week! Our next trial is double agility/jumping, and double tricks on this Saturday, the 26th July. A few things to remember for this trial;

🐾 Start time on Saturday is 9am, so please aim to arrive around 8am. We will be starting at 9am with tricks and double agility, and after a lunch break we will be running tricks and double jumping.
🐾 Please remember not to park outside the SES sheds at the bottom of the agility ring as they need room to get vehicles out.
🐾As this trial is a one day trial, camping is not available.

We can’t wait to see everyone out in the ring with their dogs 🐶

Member Spotlight- Athena and Iris 🐶

Our littlest competing member spent her weekend at the Atherton Tableland Kennel Club dog shows with her young corgi, Iris.

Iris won Minor Puppy in Group and Reserve Best of Breed and Athena won third place junior handler.

Handling a show dog is hard work, especially a young dog and Athena is doing amazing!

If you have a pedigree dog and are interested in conformation showing contact the Atherton Tableland Kennel Club Inc for more information.

Tableland Dog Obedience Club Inc.

Tableland Dog Obedience Club was founded in June 1990 and has been going strong ever since. we are situated on the Atherton Tablelands, west of Cairns and we train every Wednesday evening throughout the year. The cost is $35.00 per year plus $5.00 training fees per night. Classes 1, 2 and 3 will commence at 7 pm and go until 8 pm. Advanced class (classes 4 and 5) will commence at 6:00pm and run until 7:00pm. These amendments to our structure are to accommodate an increase in member numbers. We apologise for any inconvenience, but Tableland Dog Obedience is very excited that our club is growing in strength, and that the members of the new Advanced group will be receiving more individualised attention and exposure to more advanced training techniques. Dogs must be 3 months + the new intake is the first Wednesday of every month.
