Weekend wrap up from Proserpine cluster of shows … 6 in total. We have a little ‘skip’ in our step after this one. The pictures really say it all.💕😊
Our beautiful babies Astrid and Tyko again did us proud.

Astrid (my darling Swedish Vallhund) was awarded
5/6 bitch challenges
4/6 RU of breed
1 x State bred in group
And in the A20 show was awarded Best of Breed giving her her 4th A20 qualification 😊

Now… I know that she is usually the sole Vallhund carrying the banner in FNQ but this weekend we had the company of our CQ Vallhund friends. Go the Vally’s !!!! All 5 of us were wonderful ambassadors of our breed!

1 RU in group in the A20 show also giving him his final A20 qualification 😊
Best comment of the weekend when a judge said to Robyn ‘ they are just such a sexy breed’ lol but it’s true 😜

We also took and exhibited Kerrie’s a schipperke’s, Harry and Edie.

The schipperkes had an absolute cracker of a weekend all around! Enjoyed each others company and helped everyone in any way we could👏👏

Rob and I shared the motel with the usual crazy crews. Was great to catch up at 6am in our pjs as we took our morning walks 😜

Best set up for our day camp, hung out with our mate Ross and little stormy 💕

Showed Stormy for Ross again this weekend due to his injury. 2 BOBand 6/6 bitch challenges and best of Breed 2 times… good girl 😊and a junior in group. 👍

Heading home now… just 6 hours or so to go lol but we are pretty happy with this weekend xx thanks again to all our supporters… we love you heaps xx

This weekend we attended the Zone 3 Dog Of The Year support shows and what a weekend it turned out to be 😎🎉
First show Saturday morning…(1-4 group placings system)
Astrid (Swedish Vallhund) 3rd placed
Tyko (standard Xolo) 3 placed
I ran Stormy (British Bulldog) in for Ross because he has injured himself … 2nd placed
Harry (schipperke) 4th placed
Edie (schipperke neuter) group winner
We were all pretty happy with those results and grateful to the judges for awarding us😎🙏

Then onto the night of nights in Zone 3 DOTY NOTY AND POTY (Dog, Neuter and Puppy of the Year). So many deserving, beautiful examples of the breeds were on display in FNQ. Every round was tough. Thank you to judge Ainsley Carius for coming to judge at our event. When the judge looks like they are as happy to be there as you all are, you know it will be a great night 😊. I was pretty excited leading into this weekend but nothing could have prepared me for what an absolutely wonderful experience it was 🤩

Firstly thank you Kerrie Kidner for allowing me to show your beautiful Schipperkes. Edie qualified for Neuter of the Year and Harry Qualified for Dog of the Year. So bloody exciting … who would have thought your little potato ‘Edie’ would not only qualify but walk away placing
⭐️ Second Runner Up Neuter of the Year⭐️

Atherton boot camp has been a success with her trainer Astrid right by her side (thank you for trusting me with her). You may be allowed to take your baby girl back home after Proserpine 😆 💕 she is the best little show girl and has a huge personality that makes everyone who meets her fall in love with her.

Then on to ‘my boy’ (ok Kerrie’s boy😜) Harry who qualified for Dog Of The Year. He is Mr Consistent , never lets me down in the ring, has the smoothest moves (literally) and loves his special chicken treats made with love by Aunty Rob. In DOTY he was placed
⭐️ Second Runner Up Dog of the Year⭐️

He was absolutely rock solid and is a wonderful ambassador of the breed. He looks up at me as we walk around with such love in his eyes… oh my heart.

Thank you Kerrie, and your pup stars, for these bucket list moments . 🥰 first and foremost they are your results because you have beautiful dogs… congratulations 🥂

FNQ is like no other when it comes to supporting each other, seriously the kind words of genuine love I felt while in and out of the ring made it about more than the placing. 🥰 my heart is full ❤️

We spent Friday night having a seafood smorgasbord at the motel with Kerrie, Nic, Sophie, June. 🦪🍤Bev also joined us for a lovely catch up. The dogs got lots of love from the road techs staying there… so funny, we would take one breed out and they’d say ooh what is that, then they would say to the next one, oh wow and what is that and it keeps coming until you get to a Xolo and they all fall in love with a primitive bred lol but to be fair each one got their fan moment 😆

The absolute best thing to happen on the weekend was to see our mate Ross Ryan presented with a trophy of appreciation from all clubs in Zone 3. We all know how much Ross does for each and every club. He is the go to, fix it, find it, make it guy of the FNQ show world and we all love him to absolute bits! Could not be a more humble and deserving person to be acknowledged in FNQ. Love you Rocco but you know that already ❤️

Thanks to Dogs Queensland for bringing this event back to Zone 3 and supporting it to happen before our show season finishes. And to Gordon Mayne and Louise Marsden for all your hard work to put it together. And the canteen staff… epic effort by a very small crew. 🙏

What a fabulous weekend we just shared in Ingham. Thank you to the hard working members of the Ingham club for putting on such a memorable 90th celebration weekend. 😎🥰

We took our usual crew
Astrid ( Swedish Vallhund) 3 x BOB , 2nd place in Statebred Sweepstakes
Tyko (standard Xolo) 3x BOB and 1 BIG, 1 Australian Bred in group
And we took our favourite little schipperke neuter girl Edie for our friend Kerrie K 3 NOB, 2 x BNIG and a lovely ⭐️Neuter in Show ⭐️ the special stained glass rosettes are stunning 🤩
Enjoyed stewarding groups 3 and 4 and learned how to pronounce Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen lol but I can say Xoloitzcuintle so this was a walk in the park 😬🤣
Congratulations to a the winners this weekend.👏👏👏

We stayed in our motel home away from home in Ingham, ate our favourite seafood ( yes we doubled down and went back Saturday night as well 😜🤣 🦪🍤) won a few more raffle prizes, ate delicious canteen food and enjoyed time chatting with so many people and hung out with our brother from another mother Ross and his no nose cutie Stormy (aka the white witch) and beautiful Bella so … Bella Bella his Staffy love. Loved seeing the ladies who dressed up and enjoyed the 90th anniversary club celebration, especially the cake 🎂 Oh and the Phins won!!! Hey Ross… 🐬😎

I am pretty sure I saw many many FNQ dog show enthusiasts having a simply wonderful weekend together… just as it should be. AND … we get to do it all again in 2 weeks time when we return to Ingham for the Zone 3 DOTY, POTY and NOTY. We are excited… I bought new suit jackets lol Good luck to all the amazing winners in our Zone. This is going to be wonderful 🎉 we have our clapping hands ready and our cheering voices clear. 🥰😊😎

And they all performed really well for us, for her thank to Kerrie’s preparation.
I was worried I may have to show a Doberman at some stage 😬😜 but as usual Sienna and Alicia (with a little help from Wyatt) showed up and did their thing with Kerrie K’s dobes🙏💕
Ross ran in a Frenchie for Alicia, which is a bit of ‘bizzaro world’ as usually Alicia is running in Bella for him. 😉 Great laughs and lots of entertainment for sure .

Huge congratulations to Janine Hourn and Arisa on gaining Arisa’s supreme title today. The crowd went wild lol not only is Arisa is a quality own bred dog and is showing exceptionally well, Janine is a lovely person, dedicated to her breed and is a wonderfully supportive competitor who is exceptionally kind.
I am very proud to be in the ring with a dog of this quality in FNQ and such a humble competitor on the end of her lead 🙏💕👏👏👏🎉😎

I truly enjoyed stewarding Group 4 all weekend. 😊 You guys are hilarious and I loved the banter between you all. 🤣And might I say, very well organised as well 👍🙏

Last night I kicked my shoes off under the table and one landed on Sassy. She didn’t move. Proof in pictures 🤣

And just like that I was at home in the ring with my comfort breed. 💕this is Shrek. He was the Hunny litter baby daddy and I still love him to bits. She looked just like her dada 💕 He lived with us while he made babies with Puddin and still looks amazing at 8 years of age. I ran into the ring at the Ekka with him and I really felt the no nose itch… oh dear don’t tell my husband 😬😜 This is yesterday at Durack. Thank you for sharing him with me Megan xx heart full. Now I need to get home to Yogi and Ace for some serious cuddles and yard walks. I missed them 🥰

What a fabulous weekend at Northern Tropics Kennel Club cluster of 4 shows. 🎉

I truly enjoyed the friendly ringside banter 🤣🤣🤣 and congratulations from everyone as I had a weekend I will never forget with both my own girl and the beautiful Schipperkes that we are privileged to handle for Kerrie Kidner. A weekend like this one is a bucket list moment and not one easily forgotten. It’s the most unexpected things that are the most valued. How lucky we are. 😎🥰

We got to hang out with our favourite supportive crew, have a laugh at ourselves, do a little winning, eat some great food from the canteen and cheer for our friends.

Astrid, my Swedish Vallhund (velcro) girl found her feet this weekend and was consistently recognised which was a great honour. Thank you to all 4 judges who awarded her.

Rob showed her boy Tyko to 4 Best of Breed and ⭐️2 Australian Bred in Group⭐️ he looked absolutely superb this weekend and it is great to see Rob well enough to do her things with him after I shared my flu with her last weekend 😞🤧 sorry sister

I also enjoyed showing Misty Blue the gorgeous junior Border Collie who went front strength to strength in her confidence over this season and one of my proudest accomplishments is earning her trust and seeing her flourish over time. Well done Misty… and yes I will always have secret stash on treats ready 😊🥰

Well done to our British Bulldog buddy Stormy and Ross who are always there for us. His Stormy girl and Bella did him very proud as always. We are lucky to have his continued and consistent support and he says he is really excited to sit in a car with me for 24 hours as we set of on our Souther adventure this week 🤣🤣🤣

Finally, the success of the schipperkes have everything to do with Kerrie Kidner and her love and attention and very little to do with Rob, Alicia or I who help handle them. Congratulations Kerrie… ⭐️🤩🎉😎 it was a very exciting weekend indeed!!!

Finally, a stranger walked up to my girl and pet her, she started wagging her tail excitedly and I was surprised at how cool she was with it. I then said ‘Do you know Swedish Vallhunds?’ And he said ‘ I used to show them’. When he removed his glasses I recognised him I understood why Astrid was happy with his love lol it was our good friend and OG coach lol Sean. So great to see him again. You can both come home now 🙏 You and Kathy are missed xx

It has been the best of times and the worst of times… while we mourn the loss of our gorgeous boy Baccus we have held off posting about the past few weekends at shows. But it is time to celebrate the achievements of our pup-stars who have been performing consistently well.

Atherton Tablelands Kennel Club, hosted 6 shows over 2 weekends. and on Friday we attended the Innisfail Ag show. We had our favourite white terror Stormy and beautiful Bella and their humans Ross and Erin hang out at home with us again. this weekend 💕.

Grand Champion Eshad Bobby has passed away peacefully at 10 years and 8 weeks of age. 🥺
We got him at 8 weeks so the entirety of his life other than those short weeks was with us.
He was a wonderful show dog and loved doing junior handlers with his girls. People used to say he was too much dog for the little girls in junior handlers but they didn’t know that was why he was put on the earth… protecting his kids Morgan and then Sophie.
Morgan titled him and did all the work to train him.
He loved the trips away.
He loved the attention but never sought it.
He loved being shown by Morgan and Robyn and even Ross before me and I didn’t mind because I loved watching him perform.
God help us if we checked him… he knew what he was doing.
Rest comfortably now our boy xx we love you always. End of an era for Morscan and the world shifted just a little for us all🥺
The first picture is how I always picture him xx front front front!
Morgan has written a beautiful tribute. He was 💯 her boy and Scott’s constant companion.
