The school holidays are starting off with so much fun here at Discovery Coast Equine Connections! ✨

We’ve loved welcoming visitors into our herd for one-off discovery sessions — a beautiful way for holiday makers to slow down, bond with our horses, and enjoy a taste of connection in nature while they’re here. 🌿

Lovely local Julia’s has grandkids visiting so they joined us this week and what a beautiful time they had! From brushing and learning the magic of liberty to simply soaking up the calm presence of the horses, the smiles said it all. 🐎💫

Whether you’re here for a visit or a local looking for something meaningful to do these holidays, our discovery sessions are the perfect chance to share in the magic of horses. 💜

🌧️🎶 After the much-needed rain, everything feels alive again! The air is fresh, the birds are singing their hearts out, and our herd is soaking up the change in the best way.

Whiskey decided there’s no better way to celebrate than with a dip in the dam — cooling off, splashing around, and reminding us all to enjoy the simple moments. 🐴💦

It’s these small but special scenes that show the magic of life with horses. Their joy becomes our joy, and their presence helps us slow down, smile, and breathe in the beauty of nature. 🌿✨

💜🐴 HORSE TIME - NOT JUST FOR THE KIDS - WE HAD SOME AMAZING ADULT SESSIONS THIS WEEK 🐴💜

This week has been nothing short of extraordinary at Discovery Coast Equine Connections. 🌿✨

Our adult sessions have been filled with powerful moments — hearts opening, souls connecting, and horses guiding us into deeply touching spaces of trust and understanding. 💫

Every session is a gentle reminder of the magic that unfolds when people and horses come together with honesty, presence, and openness. The herd seems to know just what each person needs — whether it’s courage, calm, clarity, or simply the quiet space to breathe. 🌸

We’ve witnessed bonds forming that are truly inspiring. The kind of connections that stay with you long after you’ve left the paddock — moments that can spark confidence, soften old fears, and remind us that we are never walking this journey alone.

Here, the horses don’t just teach us about themselves — they remind us of who we are at our best: calm, grounded, authentic, and connected. 🌈🐎

To every adult who stepped into the round yard this week — thank you for trusting the process, showing up bravely, and allowing the horses to walk beside you. 💜

🌿💜 Community Love & Gratitude 💜🌿

We are just loving all the feedback coming in — it’s been so special to hear how much these sessions mean to our families:

✨ One parent shared that their teenage daughter put her hand up for the first time ever to join an extracurricular team at school — a huge step in courage and confidence thanks to the improved coordination and all-round growth she’s found here.

✨ Another family told us how their child shows such eagerness and enthusiasm for her horsemanship journey, and how uplifting it’s been to see her supported every step of the way, even more so the ability to regulate emotions with more control and relaxation is nothing short of amazing.

✨ We’ve received heartfelt drawings of our horses and spotted photos of clients with the herd saved as phone and laptop screen savers and even heard that some clients look forward to sessions all week long — some even dreaming about their time with the horses! 🐴💜

It’s clear our herd has truly made their way into the homes and hearts of locals — and we couldn’t be prouder to be doing this important work for our community. ✨ 🫶🏼

Our free sessions have also been a huge hit and with no expectations, they must have been powerful as all evolved youth and adults have asked for ongoing sessions and thanks to the longer days 🌞, we now have a new time slot available to fit everyone one in and although already full, we do have spots available for Term 1, 2026.
