Happy retirement to Kayseri better known as Billy ❤️
Another one of my wonderful old boys is heading off to a new life on Kangaroo Island
Such a gentleman, to ride and on the ground. Clean in his stable but always tipping his water bucket over! When he was feeling fresh he would let everyone know by doing some big high kicks on his way home showing his excitement for his breakfast!
He’s been such a fun horse, Mr Perfect in the float and traveling all round the countryside, trying to find the perfect racing surface for him.
5 wins and 15 placings from 46 starts for us he earned over $118k
Absolute highlight was winning the Mallee Cup at Mildura ridden by a jockey we didn’t even know 😂
He gave his KI owners huge thrills to win multiple times on the island and also many placings in town, going so close to winning many times!
My gosh I’m going to miss you my dear old boy. Retired sound. Here’s to a new chapter 🥺❤️

Happy retirement The Ladies Man!
Aka Hughey
What a fun horse to have for the past 3.5 years!
His record for me was 7 wins and 12 placings from 40 starts and over $107k in stakes earnings.
Most memorable wins were 2023 Pooncarie Cup and of course 2023 Silver City Cup where he ran away and won by over 12 lengths!
He also won at Port Augusta, Kangaroo Island and Balaklava.
I dragged him all over the state where he finished close seconds at Pt Lincoln to track specialist I Need A Drink and also missing by a whisker at Mt Gambier and Roxby Downs and even Mildura!
He spent quite a bit of time travelling and never missed a beat. Always so enthusiastic bouncing around on arrival anywhere new and eating and drinking everything.
He was quite the trouble maker and could be quite the grump! Always trying for a nip and got his target often!
I’m going to miss listening to his beautiful regular breathing as he worked around the track with his head tucked in low, when he wasn’t shying at shadows and terrorizing his riders lol
The stables sure are going to be a lot quieter without you and we definitely will miss you mate❤️

St Pats Broken Hill 60th race meeting. Both boys went super today. It was a hot day (but it was hot everywhere!)
Jamie and I kept them as cool as we could and both horses recovered and came through their races no problem. Another placing in the Cup! So proud of Billy

Vale - Next Dimension
Last night we lost the battle to save our beloved sweet boy Jack.
He was already was retired from racing and was about to head off to a wonderful home in Victoria.
Unfortunately he became ill and couldn’t be saved.
We are all so sad how things can sometimes be so unfair!
Thanks to all who helped with him in the past couple of days.
Another angel gone too soon 💔
