From Frankfurt to Dubai - Cole, the Stabyhoun, made the journey to his owner with Equitrans Pets!
A rare breed, the Stabyhoun (pronounced “stah-BYE-hoon”) is a medium-sized dog breed originating from Friesland in the Netherlands. They are known for being versatile working dogs, historically used for hunting (pointing and retrieving), pest control, and guarding. We are wondering if Cole is the only single Stabyhoun dog in the UAE???
In terms of temperament, Stabyhouns are generally gentle, intelligent, affectionate, and loyal companions to their families, and are often good with children and other pets.

Keeping Your Furry Friends Cool in the UAE Heat! 🐾☀️
Dubai’s summer can be tough on pets. Keep your dogs and cats safe and comfortable with these quick tips:
· Hydrate! Always provide fresh, cool water, consider adding ice cubes.
· Stay Indoors: Limit outdoor time during peak heat.
· Cool Spaces: Ensure your home is air-conditioned and offer cooling mats.
· Never in Cars: It’s deadly – never leave pets in a parked car.
· Create Cool Spaces: Ensure your home is well-ventilated and air-conditioned. For both dogs and cats, offer cooling mats or elevated beds that allow for airflow.
· Watch for Signs: Look for excessive panting or lethargy and seek vet help if you’re concerned.
· Paw Protection: While more critical for dogs walked on pavement, hot surfaces can also affect curious cats. Check the ground temperature before any outdoor adventures.
