Today our inspector Dumi and an official from BCC went to investigate another dog bite attack.

These are becoming a regular occurance.

We are asking if the public could please make sure ....

- if you are a dog owner that your property is secure so the dog won't roam the streets
- that your dog is up to date with it's inoculations spca offer a very reasonable fee for this
-to report dogs they see roaming around their area regularly
- to stay with a lost dog until we can come collect keep inspector Dumi 0712 307 233 number for such cases

These two were also part of the transfer of 12 puppies from Gweru spca to ours.

They will bring you much joy thank you for going the adoption route..

You can look away if you want to, but this is reality and this is what’s going on in the townships.

Puppies are dying by the hundreds from Parvo, bilary, malnutrition, worms and pure neglect.

Sometimes we are lucky enough to get to a puppy in time to save it, most of the times we are called too late. And these are pups which we know about, how many are out there, that we don’t even know about.

The only way we can curb the neglect is by sterilising. Please get behind a steri drive, donate towards a shelter doing steri’s, volunteer at a steri day….the only way we can curb this madness is by working together.
