A huge thanks for all the kind words of encouragement received from the public after the fire at Znspca. Last night, the Emergency Help Group ladies arrived with water and cokes to freshen our thirst and remove that burnt taste.Today fresh, homebaked muffins from Donna arrived early in the morning. Hilary then arrived with a huge selection of doughnuts and drinks. Later, Olga and Christie came bearing Christmas mince pies. These acts of kindness and consideration were so welcomed by all of us.
Makeshift lights and powerbanks to charge phones made such a difference. Calls came in offering help.
The Zim public ,at its best over the holiday period.
PLEASE BEAR WITH US FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS. There are cruelty cases to attend to, homechecks to carry out, and a whole lot of physical work to deal with. Animals are a priority, and cases will be triaged and attended to in order or emergency. Strays can be reported to Harare Spca. After the fireworks last night, we will start seeing disoriented pets wandering on the streets or find pets missing from homes
Keep an eye on the Zim Pets Lost and Found page.
