White River Animal Hospital Welfare Fund Unforeseen circumstances sometime make it difficult for good quality owners to settle vet bills. The fund will assist owners that qualify.

The fund was started in 2012. We raise money by hosting dog walks, selling bracelets and bandanna's and from donations. Over the past 2 years, we have helped a multitude of animals. The aim of the fund is to assist owners that really care about their pets, but has financial constraints making it difficult at the time. Owners are still responsible for some of the costs.

Our dog walk team greeting and vaccinating every furry friend that joined us last year! 🐾 We had so much fun handing out goodie bags, sharing cuddles and kisses, and spending the day surrounded by wagging tails and happy faces. We cannot wait to do it all again at this year’s event! 🐶❤️

🐾 Come join us on 10 August 2025 for loads of fun, goodie bags, good food, stalls, rabies vaccinations for the doggos & loads more!

🐕Our Annual Dog Walk is in aid of the White River Animal Hospital Welfare Fund.

🐾 Entry fee is R60 per doggo and includes a goodie bag, rabies vaccination, access to our beautiful walking route & access to all market stalls.
