Adopted: MAESTRO HAS FOUND HIS FOREVER HOME! 🏡❤️

We are absolutely over the moon to share that beautiful 1-year-old Maestro has found his forever home! 🥰

This special boy has landed himself an incredible home where he will get to travel between two beautiful farms, surrounded by plenty of space, love and other furry friends to keep him company. 🐕🐾

One of his new homes is near the Lesotho border — a place that holds a special memory for us as it’s where we had the pleasure of holidaying at the beginning of the year at Old Mill Drift. ❤️
We couldn’t have wished for a better future for this boy. He is going to have so much room to explore, friends to play with and a wonderful family to help him grow into the very best family companion he can be.

We are so happy for you, Maestro! 🥹❤️
May your new adventure be filled with love, happiness, muddy paws and many wonderful memories.

Avk9 Jakari & Bert — New Adventures

🐾 “Every new journey begins with a single step — and the strongest journeys are built on courage, loyalty and determination.” 🐾

We wish these two very special dogs all the best as they begin their new journey as working K9s. We are incredibly proud of both of them and everything they have achieved so far.
Their hard work, dedication and potential have brought them to this exciting next chapter, and we can’t wait to watch them grow, excel and achieve great things in their new roles.
The journey is just beginning…
We are so proud of you both! ❤️🐕‍🦺

Icarus & Inaako — Our I-Litter Boys 🐾

Icarus and Inaako are our two 2-year-old male Belgian Shepherds from our I-litter. We chose to keep these two boys within our programme and have spent the past two years training, developing and preparing them for their future as patrol K9s within our security unit.

These boys are coming along incredibly well, and we are now getting closer to the next exciting stage of their journey — being socialised with their selected handlers before beginning their deployment onto our security sites.

We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards when it comes to our patrol K9s. Our dogs do not remain on-site. They are collected daily and brought back to base where they can rest, receive their care and be closely monitored. Our K9s are rotated daily, and each dog is carefully matched with the handler best suited to them and their working abilities.

Every deployed K9 also works with a tracking collar, allowing us to closely monitor and manage our dogs while they are working.
For us, it is about much more than simply putting a dog on a site — it is about developing stable, capable working K9s, providing the correct handler partnership and ensuring their welfare remains a priority throughout their working lives.

We are incredibly proud of Icarus and Inaako and cannot wait to see these two boys begin their working journey within our patrol unit. 💪🐕‍🦺
Another generation of AVK9 working dogs stepping up. 🖤

🐾 Two Belgian Shepherds Looking for Their Forever Homes 🐾

We currently have two Belgian Shepherds looking for loving, committed forever homes. Both dogs have wonderful qualities but unfortunately have not made the cut for the working industry they were originally intended for.

🐕 1-Year-Old Male (Maestro)
This handsome boy is not from our breeding programme. He was originally intended for Patrol K9 training but unfortunately did not meet the requirements of the programme. We believe he would thrive in a family environment where he can build his confidence, develop at his own pace and reach his full potential.

🐕‍🦺 2-Year-Old Female (Ivy)
This spunky girl is from our breeding programme. She is energetic, incredibly intelligent and absolutely loves playing ball. Her high energy levels mean she would be best suited to an active family with older children who can keep up with her enthusiasm. Breed experience would be recommended for her adoption.

🏡 Adoption Process
These are not first-come, first-served adoptions. We are committed to finding the right home for each individual K9.
• Strict adoption requirements will apply
• An adoption fee will be payable for both dogs
• Serious applicants who meet our requirements will receive further information
• A meeting with the K9s at our premises will be required
• A thorough home check will be conducted
• An adoption contract will be put in place
• The most suitable K9 will be selected based on the individual family and home environment
We want to make sure these dogs don't simply find a home — they find the right forever home. ❤️
📩 Only serious enquiries from people who meet the required criteria, please. More information will be provided to suitable applicants once the initial requirements have been met.

Update: Nikita (formerly Meta)! 💕 Today she officially went home with her big sister, Tserina (Inka) from our I-litter.
She has already made herself right at home and is settling in beautifully with her new family. 🥰 We are so excited to watch these two girls grow and enjoy life together!
Nikita will continue her protection training with us as she grows and develops into a confident, well-rounded family protection K9. 🐾❤️

Gorgeous Maui, now Nabari, is absolutely loving life with her new family! 🥰🐾

She will continue her protection training with us as she develops into a confident home protection K9. This girl has a BIG personality, which thankfully suits her perfectly because she has quite a few large fur brothers to keep her company! ❤️

We can’t wait to watch this beautiful girl grow, mature and develop into a well-rounded, stable and loving family protection dog.

We are so excited for her journey! 🐾💪❤️
