❗UPDATE ON THE RE-OPENING OF BLOEM'S ANIMAL PRISON❗

The NSPCA launched an urgent court application against the re-opening of the Bloemfontein Zoo. The final judgement in the application is pending and has been postponed to September 2024.

HOWEVER, the Court granted an interim order on 15 August 2024 prohibiting the Bloemfontein Zoo from receiving any animals, as well as from re-opening until a final judgment is delivered.

The NSPCA remains steadfast and resolute in its opposition to the re-opening of the Bloemfontein Zoo, following the gruesome animal cruelty and mismanagement that took place under the hands of the very people who intend on re-opening it.
