Just outside Underberg and against the magnificent backdrop of SA's very own UNESCO World Heritage site for 'exceptional natural beauty', you will find Khotso's Backpackers Lodge, unique self-catering Rondawels, a giant log cabin and orchard campsite; all nestled amongst a 1 000 hectare working horse and sheep farm. It's shaped by the wonderful characters that both visit and call this place home,

and people come from all over the world. For adventure, we're famous for our horse trails. The specialists in the area, we can take you out for a few hours, the whole day, at sundown, or even for a 3-day, cross-border horseback expedition into the untouched wilds of Lesotho. Alternatively, opt for a 4X4 day-trip and roar up the famous Sani Pass, chill out with a beer at the bar or braai by the stars, cascade down the rapids in a raft, mountain bike, hike, catch some trout... Whatever you're looking for, we'll go out of our way to help make it happen. Our private, self-catering rondawels are authentically built and perfect for families, romantic getaways or groups of friends looking to spend time together.
