🐻INDIGO VON DEN BUSCHBUREN🐻

Wow what a weekend at our GSDFSA National Show.

As a kennel, Indigo is the first dog that we own to get this prestigious title and we couldn't be happier.

Indigo has been with us for just over 4 weeks and has bonded so well with the family. His attitude at home and in the ring has been really amazing and we are really greatful for all the work that has been put into him by his trainers in Germany

We also feel very proud to continue the legacy of Buschburen kennel here in South Africa and feel like we have served our late friend Markus Smak well. Smaki we know you were watching and guiding us through the show.

To our trainers at Magalies German Shepherd Club for helping us prepare for nationals and to Astrid Zuber for her professional handling in the ring, we are extremely grateful and thank you from the bottom of our heart

To all our friends who have been sharing pictures, videos and congratulations, we thank you very much.

Our dear friend Markus Smak has passed away. Markus was the owner of von den Buschburen kennel and has supported us with some excellent bloodlines to bring to South Africa. His dream was to come to Africa and come on safari and unfortunately he did not make it to fulfil this dream but his legacy will live on through his bloodline.

We were fortunate enough to see him in Germany at BSZS and saw Indigo von den Buschburen go SG13. Something he was very proud of.

Rest easy my friend. Wishing your family and friends strength and love through this difficult time💜
