Vlottenburg Stables Full livery in irrigated grass paddocks. Live-out with shelters, open stables or traditional stables. Situated 7kms from Stellenbosch and 10 min from SDRC.

Our yard is family owned and run and we live on the property. We offer livery with permanent grazing, stunning outrides in the vineyards and a relaxed atmosphere to come and spend time with your horse. We also have many different arenas and jumps for the competitive rider. We like to keep our horses as naturally and stress free as possible. Our SANEF qualified yard managers also keep their own horses on the property and always strive to add that personal touch.

14 years, 18 Stables, 24 wooden stables, 17 live out horses at main yard, 36 horses at The Oaks, 6 arenas, 3 lunging rings, 5 tackrooms. The yard has grown more than we could ever have anticipated. But the most impressive amount, is the number of amazing people that call this yard home. We are a community, a family, and we treasure that above all else.

We've completed our latest unit of wooden stables with an individual night paddock attached to keep up with demand. These stables are exceeding our expectations with how relaxed and comfortable the horses are in them. Guess it's time to start the next one!

*full-time position (5 days a week)
*no qualification necessary, do your qualification as you work (first exam in April)
*we pay a small allowance which increases as you gain your qualifications
*no riding experience necessary
