Meet Toga 💛
Toga is the very epitome of friendly, every single bone in his body just loves to show it. From greeting new volunteers to sharing excited moments of joy with the staff. Toga is always a smile waiting to happen ! 😊
Toga arrived with us in September 2024, at 4 years old, in truly awful condition. He was terribly skinny, clearly having had a rough start in life. But despite everything he had been through, his incredibly sweet and loving nature never wavered for a second. That beautiful character has shone through from day one. 🌟
Since arriving, Toga has transformed. He’s now filled out into a healthy 28kg medium-l sized boy, with a handsome tan coat and a distinct dark snout that gives him the most endearing expression. And while he may be a sturdy lad on the outside, inside he’s nothing more than a lap dog trapped in a big dog’s body! 🐕
Human contact is number one on Toga’s list of favourite things. Cuddles, leaning into you for attention, resting his head in your lap that’s his happy place. Close behind that comes splashing in water, playing with toys, and spending time with his pooch pals. He absolutely loves car rides and is always ready for the next adventure, whether it’s exploring a new walking spot or just popping out for a trip. 🚗
Toga gets on beautifully with both male and female dogs. His confident nature does tend to shine through, and he does enjoy being top dog, so he would thrive in a home where any resident dogs are happy to share the limelight with this charming boy. 💪
He is an incredibly deserving soul with a heart of gold. Toga will remind you every single day why dogs are truly man’s best friend. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, fun-loving companion who will fill your home with warmth and joy, Toga is waiting to meet you. 🐾
