Opal was found in our after-hours drop-off kennels along with her best friend, Nellie (see previous post).

This young medium-sized girl is full of smiles and tail wags. Friendly, affectionate and so beautiful.

While we'd love to see the girls adopted together, we'd also be thrilled to find each of them loving homes of their own.

GEORGE 🐾💙 A big, smushy teddy bear looking for a home. ❗️George is NOT a guard dog and NOT a lawn ornament❗️

We will be very selective about where he is placed. He will not be homed to sleep in a front yard or be left exposed as a deterrent to criminals. He deserves to be part of the family!

We have not yet done extensive dog testing, but so far George has shown very little reaction to other dogs and appears to be quite relaxed around them. Our preference would be for George to join a home with a female dog of a similar size, pending introductions.

Please note that the Springs SPCA office will close to the public at 13:00 every Thursday.

🐾 This change allows our team some dedicated time to catch up on paperwork and keep everything in order.

Our updated office hours are as follows:
🔹️Monday – Wednesday: 08h00 – 17h00
🔹️Thursday: 08h00 – 13h00
🔹️Friday: 08h00 – 17h00
🔹️Saturday: 08h00 – 12h00
🔹️Sunday: Closed

All other services... including the charity shop and emergency services, will continue to operate as normal.
