We’re incredibly proud to be partnering with The Underdog Project ❤️

It’s an initiative that truly aligns with what we believe in — not just caring for dogs, but using that connection to make a real difference in people’s lives. Their work supports both vulnerable youth and shelter dogs, helping build confidence, empathy and a sense of purpose.

At Doggo, we’re passionate about getting behind something that creates impact on both sides — supporting dogs while also helping young people build a better future for themselves.

As part of this partnership, we’ll be welcoming some of their graduates into our branches through an internship programme. We’re really excited to meet and work with them — and to help develop their skills in areas like leadership, canine behaviour, grooming, teamwork and real-world work experience.

Our goal is to create genuine opportunities for long-term growth and employment, and we’re looking forward to building a meaningful, lasting relationship together.

You may start seeing some new faces at our branches — we’d really appreciate you giving them a warm Doggo welcome 🐾

Doggo is expanding and we’re looking for passionate, hardworking people to join our growing pack across multiple roles. If you love dogs, enjoy an active environment, and want to be part of a professional team, we want to hear from you.

Available Positions

- Professional Groomer
- Dog Handler / Carer
- Branch / Site Manager

Requirements (role dependent)
All applicants must:

- Be a South African citizen
- Have minimum 1 year hands-on experience with dogs (dog care experience is non-negotiable)
- Be comfortable working with multiple dogs in a fast-paced environment
- Be physically fit and ready for hands-on work
- Be reliable, punctual & a team player
- Be available for weekends & public holidays

For Branch / Site Manager applicants:

- Previous management or supervisory experience
- Strong leadership, organisation & people skills
- Solutions-driven and detail-oriented
- Comfortable in a physical, operational role – not office-only
