‼️ Snufflemats ‼️

As a trainer, snufflemats are always in my top choice of enrichment toys for pets as I absolutely love watching their noses move.

Snufflemats allow pets to engage in their natural foraging behaviour by sniffing out treats hidden between all the ruffles.

Our snufflemats are made to be tough with a durable rubber back and lots of ruffles to make for challenging hides.

They are 30cmx30cm and colours depend on availability. They are at a cost of R400 each.

Collection in Sedgefield. Courier can be arranged country wide.

‼️ Something super exciting ‼️

Puppy 1 classes now being offered in Plettenberg Bay at Echotrack kennels.

Please see below Puppy school info:

We are excited to announce that our Puppy 1 curriculum has undergone some exciting changes! Puppy 1 will now run over a 6 week course every Friday at Echotrack Kennels in Plettenberg Bay. In our 6 week course, we cover behaviour theory, basic obedience, leash walking, confidence boosting, desensitisation and exposure to common items such as nail clippers, brushes, cones etc. we will also do some basic nose work as part of our confidence boosting! Puppies will also be able to socialise safely with one another throughout our course.

There is no need to wait for intakes to happen, pups can join at anytime as long as they have had their 2nd vaccinations and once their 6 weeks are complete (1 online theory, 5 practical sessions), they will receive a certificate of completion. The standard Puppy 1 class time will be on Friday afternoons, however the first lesson which is a theory lesson is done online via Whatsapp video call one day through the week as pups do not attend the theory lesson. Practical class time on Fridays is from 12pm-1pm.

We are a force-free positive reinforcement based school therefore we use no aversive equipment. We encourage our pups to come to class with a harness and a leash, alternatively a flat collar however please note that we do not use choker chains, prong collars or slip leads for our training.

Private training classes are so much fun. These are done privately which allows us to focus on areas you need special assistance with and incorporate really important life skills and obedience with your dog. Due to the classes being private - it does not matter the age of your dog. These courses run over 5 weeks which gives us time to see progress and make adjustments as needed.

If you struggle with behaviours such as jumping up on people, destructive behaviour, no leash skill, recall issues, toilet training problems, digging or your doggy simply not responding to you - private training may be the best option for you!
