I thought it was about time I reintroduced myself, especially as so many new faces have joined this page over the years.
I’m Dr Christine Papadopoulos, although most of my clients simply know me as Dr Christine. I’m the veterinarian behind The Visiting Vet, and for the past 7 years I’ve had the privilege of providing veterinary care to pets in Johannesburg North and the surrounding areas-all from the comfort of their own homes.
When I started The Visiting Vet, I had a dream of making veterinary care more convenient and less stressful for pets and their families. Seven years later, I still feel incredibly grateful that I get to do what I love every day.
Life has changed a lot since then! Along the way, I’ve gotten married and I’ve become a mom to two beautiful boys. They’ve made life busier, fuller, and even more rewarding, and they’ve deepened my appreciation for the special bond we share with our animals.
Whether I’m visiting a new puppy for its first vaccinations, helping a senior pet stay comfortable in their golden years, or simply being there when a family needs support, it’s a privilege to be trusted with your pets’ care.
To all my wonderful clients-thank you for your continued support, your recommendations, and for welcoming me into your homes over the years. Your trust means the world to me.
