At Dewton ML Dachshunds, it is of the utmost importance that we breed only to improve the breed, following the KUSA breed standard. Our lines are all carefully selected and genetically sound, producing only the best pups in health, temperament and quality. All of our dogs are PRA cord-1 tested CLEAR and are registered with KUSA, as is our kennel. Forever families are meticulously selected and go t

o their new homes at 10 weeks old, microchipped, with 2 vaccinations, dewormed and crate trained. All our dogs live with us in our home, on our couches and in our beds! Owning these beautiful animals takes a lot of time, love and money to keep them healthy and happy, which is why we will always be a small breeding kennel. This ensures that all the puppies we bring into the world are healthy, socialised and loved in a home environment very similar to yours.

An update on Gideon Great Heart 💚 at a week old he now weighs 170g 🙌🏻 far off his brothers 400g but after a vet check yesterday he seems all healthy without any heart issues 🙏🏼 thank you those who prayed for him! Trusting he will go from strength to strength!

This little boy was born at 114g, by far the smallest pup we've had in the history of Dewton Dachshunds 🥹 over the first 24 hours of his life he has dropped to only 101g, while his brothers are closer to 200g. He is a little fighter who suckles longer and harder than all his siblings! Over night he has gained 5g and is now at 106g. Please pray with us that this little under dog keeps fighting for life and makes his forever family complete one day 💚🙏🏼
