🚨🐾 INSPECTORATE NEWS UPDATE 🐾🚨

👮‍♂️🐕 Our Inspectorate Team has successfully seized 2 male Boerboels and 14 chickens from a property that had been under investigation.

📜 Several Compliance Notices were issued to the owner, requesting that they contact our team and address the welfare concerns. Unfortunately, no response was received. As a result, our Inspectors had no alternative but to obtain a Warrant from the Magistrate's Court ⚖️ and proceed with the operation under the es**rt of 🚔 Tlhabane SAPS.

🏡❤️ The animals are now safe and in the care of the Rustenburg SPCA, where they will receive the attention, treatment, and compassion they deserve.

🐄 In a separate case, our Inspectors were dispatched to a report involving a calf that was being transported while overloaded and tethered.

⚡ The team responded immediately, located the driver, and provided education regarding the legal requirements for the humane transportation of animals. 📋 A Compliance Notice was subsequently issued.

⚠️ ASSISTANCE NEEDED ⚠️

We recently attempted to renew the licence disc for our Toyota Hilux and were surprised to discover that an unknown vehicle is allegedly registered under the SPCA’s name on the traffic system.

According to the licensing authorities, we are required to settle all outstanding amounts on this unknown vehicle before we can apply for the relevant documents and have it scrapped.

We believe this vehicle was registered unlawfully and without the knowledge or consent of the SPCA.

We are seeking assistance from anyone with experience in traffic registration matters, vehicle licensing, or legal processes who may be able to advise or assist us in resolving this matter.

🐾 A Positive Outcome Through Community Support 🐾

After receiving a request for assistance from a concerned member of the public regarding a dog that was in need of a proper kennel and suitable restraint, our team stepped in to help.

A kennel was provided to ensure the dog has a warm, safe, and comfortable place to sleep, and a legal running chain was installed to allow the dog freedom of movement while remaining safely contained.

We are pleased to report that the family is extremely grateful, and the dog is now happy, healthy, running, and playing in a much-improved environment.
